Somewhere in the foothills of the Alban mountains a small group of Italian Partisans decide to interfere with the Wehrmacht's carefully planned withdrawal: Initial experimentation on one of the beautiful CM:FI stock QB maps.....My hat is off to whoever made these, some of them are truly lovely! Conditions, the map and no doubt, the current forces, will all be tweaked & retweaked countless timese before this is truly a thing. PS - Kudos to @Pete Wenman for the map I'm currently using.....Just found your signature in a field, not for the first time!

I don't know either, but I'd be surprised if snipers were using custom loads at all.....I strongly suspect they'd use standard ammunition. I believe (in the UK & Soviet Union at least) sniper rifles were selected during the testing process for regular service rifles, the most accurate weapons would be selected for fitting with optics etc.

What I don't get is why the Germans didn't just use Die Glocke to open up a wormhole and then drive directly to the target, or even just drop the whole Opel with the bomb out of a Haunebu? It's a mystery to me.....Maybe someone can enlighten?

@MOS:96B2P @37mm & I did actually discuss that concept a while back.....It would take quite a bit of model-swapping & a fair few mods, but it could (sort of) be done.

I hadn't realised that someone had captured an intact X-47B! America really should be a bit more careful with their stealth drones! PS - X-47B has very little in common with S-70: One would have thought a trained 'threat analyst' might have noticed that.

+ another 1. I don't know about anyone else, but by the time I'm done with a moderate to large map I'm very often far too frazzled to make a scenario on it.....But I'd love to see someone else make some, while I get my mojo back.

The article makes no sense, why would the US import a BM Oplot to train its troops on a vehicle that Ukraine doesn't use? Or are they planning to invade Thailand?

Interesting concept dude, I'd be interested to see how it works in the wider framework of your scenario. As you can probably imagine I've been messing around in the CM:CW editor ever since I got the game. Thus far I've very little to show for it, one partly done map of an Iranian town (stalled for want of foliage) and also a little project set on a CM:CW variant of a of @benpark's awesome Berlin map.....After I've nuked it! My thought was to make a 'Twilight 2000' type scenario, where the players must cross the hot-zone to escape from vastly superior forces.....TBH at present I'm mostly still removing walls from buildings and figuring out where & how to place the crater, but I suspect I'll be picking your brains when it comes time to implement the environment.

Setting troops to Weakened or Unfit condition and messing with their morale is about as close as we can get.

Interestingly there's not so much as a hint of the weapons that actually won the recent war for them (Bayraktar TB-2 & MAM-L).
