  1. At the least it should be immobilized with that track/drive sprocket hit. That needs a fix.
  2. Great vid! Excellent movie too. One of the best endings to a war movie I've ever seen. "I have to reload!...How do I reload?" and Steiner's maniacal laughter as Stransky and the Russian boy are compared in his deranged mind. Nice Jorge.
  3. Well according to Brian Williams....Oh sorry I mean with the ability of almost anyone on the modern battlefield to be armed with a RPG I wouldn't want to be hovering low and slow.
  4. Wow! I know .50cal SLAP rounds are badass but I didn't know they were capable of that kind of penetration.
  5. Most of the install problems seem to be from anti-virus programs. Webroot is great but it is a real pain in the a$$ with CM installs. I installed CMBS with Webroot turned off all was good game started etc. As soon as I turn it back on if I try to start the game again it wont start. Disable Webroot no prob. So I have to disable it to play BS. None of the other games work that way and I have every WWII game loaded. Haven't had the chance to work on it yet but helpdesk has fixed problems for me in the past they're very good.
  6. Now just try firing the 155s at the bunkers like in Aachen.
  7. Amazing to me that a soldier like S/Sgt Pool did not receive a Medal Of Honor. Regardless of him not being an infantryman, the army made a big mistake not awarding him the highest honor. I believe he went above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks for the link btw.
  8. Jerry's skills are well documented. No surprise he can do anything with a handgun.
  9. Nice work James! I see the PzIV took one through the top of the turret.
  10. Looking at some of the pics showing 122mm penetrations the fragmentation also had to be devastating considering the slab of armor it would throw into the tank. Same for the 128mm.
  11. Very interesting reading. Its pretty clear the high velocity 75mm KwK 42 was an excellent tank killer. Reading AARs even crew members not killed were severely injured by fragments so the round not exploding wasn't always good news. Thanks for the link!
  12. When BFC covers Kursk you'll see plenty of them in Ponyri.
  13. I don't believe with the recoil energy alone it was possible to shoulder fire the weapon. I would think it was always on a rest or bipod.
  14. Nice! I like the clang on the armor and the engine in the Stug idling.
  15. Someone posted a link to the Russian Battlefield site showing Ferdinand TD losses at Ponyri. 5 were ignited by Molotov cocktail after being disabled and all burned out. It appears to be a pretty effective weapon.
  16. I actually like this but it can be a feature that the user can turn off and on. I'd like to see this added.
  17. I'm sure the Germans probably did use them frequently as anti-personnel weapons but most likely the allied air superiority later in the war made them reluctant to use ammo on ground targets unless they were going to be overrun.
  18. Any good quality Xbox or PS game will cost you $50-60. And they're not using the CM calculations for ballistics etc, probably not even close. So I think any CM game is well worth the money.
  19. I think more of the problems the King Tiger and Jagdtiger had was the fact that they were underpowered. Had the Germans put in a more powerful engine and more reliable transmissions they would have had less reliability issues.
