Yeah I don't really play CM, I just play release date hide. It's the ultimate in FOW. By the way TOW is not part of this series. And I am shocked, shocked I say! that you have friends who want to play this game. well no really I am not. One question, how is preordering different than ordering other than getting a discount? (and a cool metal box to play hide the CD with!)

My answer was to remodel the kitchen. Crawling under the house to pull in a 50 amp power line, then crawling around the attic dodging nails sticking through from the roof to install duct work is doing a pretty good job of keeping me focused. However I only have about 2 more days of that and then it's time to devolve to a refresh monkey. Makes one wonder, they teach evolution, should they also teach de-evolution? Incidentally I don't think I would want to fire a panzerfaust from either the crawlspace or the attic.

We get the simplicity of the direct download AND a nice collector box as I expect this will be THE game I play for the foreseeable future. Besides I like having the disc if an emp pulse fries all my electronics.

He did also say you can download the manual. It is online, but that little bit of discrepancy could invalidate that we will see a demo next week. Would be really really nice, but ..... probably - The "Credit card" I used would normally be properly called a debit card as it is tied directly to my checking account. However it is treated for all intents and purposes as a visa card. However I have to have the money in my account for it to be accepted. I think can safely say my using it will not create a world economic meltdown.

Okay decent point and I'll accept some heat for that too, yes we are used to CC and I should know better. My wife is Japanese and they don't use credit cards either. Noticed on page 86 of the online manual it mentions White phosphorous as a smoke option. I have read a number of reports where US tankers learned to use WP to blind German tank gunners and in some cases even cause them to bail out. (IIRC many of these reports were from 4th Armored in Lorraine) In the reports I recall reading it would not be during the time period covered by CMBN, but is this behavior something that would be considered to be included for a Bulge period Module?

I can see it now. Once the commonwealth modules is released, all the user scenarios will be US vs British and vice versa with one partying getting smacked with Battleship artillery to begin the scenario. Sorry to hear that. It really messes your own life up to make assumptions that broadly about any other people. And try the gefilte fish- with horseradish it is quite good!
