Opps, sorry I just realised the 12th SS panzer mod was by someone else.
-
These look fantastic Nik. By the way, did you see the request for an update of your 12th ss pnz mod to rename the files for the Commonwealth module and add helmet covers?
-
Also be sure to get Pinetree's base icon mod. One of the most useful mods for any game of all time.

The sticky threads in the Strategy and Tactics forums are very helpful.

King Tiger, unfinished, lacking detail?
Sequoia replied to Karabekian's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
Gian, the patch is only for those who have not purchased the Commonwealth Module and brings them to 1.10 which you would already be at if you purchased the module. The Model updates should be in future patches. -
I'm hoping Normal Dude sees this. I know it's been well over a year since he posted this but I wonder if he might still consider doing it especially now since the CMBN:CW Module is out and he might be in a lull. Unless of course he too is working on "Important stuff"

Well there really are no Allied Units besides the Bunker in the German Dealership, but I just tried the CW Commonwealth Dealership and you get the British forces when you choose the Allied side. To get the US forces you must use the Base Game Dealership scenario also available in the Repository. If you have the Commonwealth Module, you really don't need the German Base game dealership any more. I suppose I could have made one large combined dealership scenario but I did it this way and don't feel like doing it over again right now.

Excellent! Can you post some more pics of the 12th HJ too please?

But can any one find any Lynxs in quickbattles? Steve says they should be in under Heer armor. -
I don't think they'd ever go for mini add-ons. It would fracture the community too much. Opps-sorry, you can't play that scenario because you don't have this flavor object!

Steve once mentioned a system like GMT's P500 would not be something they would want to do but he said he wouldn't say never either.

Just checking if you are aware of this:

Skeleton .mds-files in the base game..?
Sequoia replied to Shorker's topic in CM Normandy Maps and Mods
I don't want to hijack this thread but it seems to me all the Waffen SS infantry use the ankle boots bmp. I'm not sure if the ankle boots model is different then a non ankle boots model. -

I know but I'm still betting on Bagration done mostly by a Russian team with basically a CMBN 1.10 engine. It'll take us by surprise just like CM:Afghanistan did except with a much bigger interest base. -

My money's on it being Bagration and I will like it, but I hope it won't stop improvements from being eventually made to CM:BN. -
Benpark-I may be wrong on this but have you noticed the Waffen SS troop models all use the ankle boots bmps? Your previews look great by the way!

No Random CW Vehicle Equipment

What is the Waffen SS camo patern called?
Sequoia replied to Sequoia's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
So it is Erbesenmuster. I get all confused on camo nomenclature. It just looked different then the mod Wyseman76 (I think it was) did for the base game. His referenced a '44 dot pattern. Maybe there's a difference. Hmm, maybe this thread will attrack Steve . -
why candian soldiers don't speak French ?
Sequoia replied to t34577685's topic in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
I'm pretty sure that someone said about CMSF that although the game came with the Canadians using the US voices they are actually different voice files and can be modded. I assume the same holds true for CMBN, I'd love for some Canadian to undertake the task. Of course then all the Canadians will sound as if they came from your part of Canada. -
That should be really easy to mod.

I think it's sort of an open beta test.
