Now that Gustav Line is coming out, I thought it would be interesting to take up the torch and make this list for CMFI and the vehicles listed so far for Gustav Line. The CMAK list comes from a spreadsheet some one made of CMAK vehicles in Italy and their availability dates. I went up to May 1944. More research has also been done since CMAK and vehicles that were not in Italy during the time period may now have been excluded, but here they all are for discussion. Up next: the Commonwealth.

I could have sworn I saw Steve post that Kriegsmarine Infanterie would be included in the Market-Garden Module but now I can't find the post. Was I hallucinating (or has there been a change of plans)?

Well I could be a smart a$$ and say there's no such thing , but I won't and say only since the M-36 was not available in CMAK, I suspect it was never used in Italy. Even in Northwest Europe I don't think it was available for Combat before the Battle of the Bulge.

I'm really pleased we're getting AA guns. A question though; the Germans will be getting the sdkfz 7/1 and 7/2. I believe the sdkfz 10/4 20mm FLAK was fairly common and by appearences would be a better frontline vehicle. I think they fit the timeframe too. I know we can't have everything, but thought I'd ask.

I think your safe with CMB then because I think 99% of potential new customers outside of Russia (Byelorus etc.), would not have a clue as to what Combat Mission:Bagration would be. I suppose it actually would be Operation Bagration but that wouldn't help. I'm thinking Combat Mission:East Front '44 would work though.

I see both of these under major new formations for the Germans on the Gustav Line web page. To my knowledge a Sturmgeschuetz Brigade consisted of a StuG III battalion, an Infantry company and some FLAK. What's the diference between these two types of formations? Thanks.

I think I have the terminology right. I'm refering to battalions of Soviet volunteers who prefered fighting for the Germans over the starvation rations in the POW camps. I know the French keep missing out on CMX2 releses, but do these Ost Battalions deserve consideration for inclusion in a Battlepack after Market-Garden? I don't know if thier uniforms and TO&E was different than a typical German infantry battalion.

It's Battlefront's own fault They're giving us Kriegsmarine troops for the Market-Garden module for Pete's sake. They've raised our expectations very high. And remember we're willing to PAY for these things.

I found a website of the French Corps in Italy and I think I need to remove Cameroon from my list but add Tunisia as there was a Tunisian regiment. Actually I haven't found any listing of a Sub-Saharan African unit in Italy fighting for the French.

Doing some 'net surfing I discovered Cyprus contributed two comoanies of mule drivers who were active at Cassino but I won't count them unless Battlefront does a mule module which might sell if they include the Polish ammo carrying bear.

My Apologies to Winecape then if he's still around. I'm going to keep the count to combat ground forces as I did not count Warsaw Pact pilots for Korea and that's of course the focus of Combat Mission. So Italy is now at 14.

Ok then, the score by my count is Korea 18 Allies (not counting those who sent only medical units) and 2 Red forces. Italy by my count is 13 Allies off the top of my head: USA UK Canada New Zealand France to which I have added- Morroco Algeria Cameroon India Poland Greece Brazil and of course later Italy please chime in with more. Axis: Germany and Italy (in Sicily) of course and I'm going to guess Croatia.
