  1. I think the vehicles in the vehicle pack, or Battlepack as Steve called it, would be realistic for the timeframe, just not as common. For example here is a list I put together for German and US vehicles we might see in the Battlepack assuming we get flamethrowers and Flak by then. All these were present in theatre for the timeframe. I don't want to guess on Commonwealth yet since we have no idea as to what will be in the initial Commonwealth module. 15cm SiG 33 15cm SiG 33/1 Grille Flak Pz 38 Hummel Wespe Sturmpanzer IV Stug IV R-35 H-35 4.7 Pak auf 35r Marder II or Marder I according to Winkelried. They did give us the T-90 in CMSF even though it was debateable if Syria had any.   2. I suppose I could play devils advocate and argue the Jumbo will not be in the Market Garden module if the Market Garden module is limited to only Market Garden forces. I would be greatly surprised if XXX Corps had any Jumbos. However I think the general belief is that the module will extend all forces to Sept '44 thus allowing scenarios in the Lorraine campaign as well. Also according to the CMBO database while the 75 Jumbo was available in September the 76 Jumbo doesn't appear until December thus we won't see it until the Bulge game.
  3. As I recall Mexico had a P-51 squadron in the Phillipines in '45 but maybe they had more than one. Jon however is pulling our legs about the 3rd SH army in France.

I'm thinking you would have to want something that would limit the Market Garden module terrain to specific scenarios otherwise if the new terrain were just added at large, it would be difficult to make scenarios that were not dependent on having the Market Garden module. It would be undesireable to have a scenario unplayable by others without the module just because you used one building type.
  5. Update. I'm almost ready to upload my "dealership" scenarios. I am convinced the following vehicles from the website to&e were cut at a late date due to them not fitting into the June to Aug '44 timeframe. I'd be happy to have anyone prove me wrong.   6. I went back trying to find a post by Steve on which I based this and the most I could find is him saying the Market-Garden module would have terrain options. So I have to say this is more a guesstimation on what my 50 year old brain was remembering at the time.
  7. As I understand it, for the Market Garden module, locality will be an selectable option in the scenario editor so one can select either Netherlands or France/Belguim and get the appropriate terrain and buildings.
  8. It's been hard trying to track down definite info. I don't believe the Marder II was in CMBO.
  9. I found them guys. Thanks for the help. I found the German mortar halftracks too under the Motorized Pioneer and Armored Recon battallions.
  10. I'm going to guess they will at least replace the WH plate tags with SS, so therefore the skins will have at least that much difference.
  11. I'd forgoten the Brit Shermans etc in CMAK had their own skins. I suppose the next question is will SS vehicles of the same type have different skins then the Heer? This is of lesser importance to me but why not ask.
  12. Well I tried various things under the Armored Inf Bn HQ company mortar platoon and all I get are M3s. Am I really missing it that badly?
  13. Thanks. Actually It's the Pz IVg early and mid I can't find and I suspect it was decided they were too early for the game. Opps posted this before I saw your second post.
  14. Thanks guys. On the German side besides me having trouble finding the mortar carrier halftracks there too, I can't find the Pz IVG early and mid. I have a suspicion those were dropped. Also for some reason the TO&E on the website makes a distinction between the HQ and normal version of the Jagdpanzer IVs. Why these are given special note escapes me. Finally I can't find the StuH 42 late. Thanks again.
  15. I'm thinking both the US and German mortar carrier halftracks are not purchasable under their official designation. It looks like one gets mortars and then regularly designated halftracks with mortar ammo on them. Am I right?
  16. I tried varying the date and unit quality in an attempt to find them but was unsuccesful.
  17. I'm working on a "Dealership" scenario that allows one to view all US vehicles at one's leisure in one place as I have done for the CMSF modules. According to the CMBN webpage TO&E section, the following vehicles should be in the game, but I can't find them in the purchase section of the scenario editor. Do these units really exist in the game somewhere or were they dropped at a late date and further did they exist at all in real life in the game's timeframe?   18. Anyway with the Bulge, 4 East Front and CMSF II game series planned we really know Battlefront's plans for years to come. The only question is if there will be anymore independent surprises such as CM:Afghanistan.
  19. There were a few requests for additional flavor objects in CMSF too but they never gave us any. My guess is because if you added them in a module it would make any scenario using them unplayable by some one without the module when it otherwise wouldn't be.
  20. I seem to remember Steve saying they will include new terrain for the Market-Garden module but I can't promise windmills and tulips though polders are a definite possibility.
  21. If I had to guess I think there is a good chance we will see the R35 in the third "battlepack" module after the Commomwealth and Market Garden module. The purpose of the battlepack is to add less common vehicles. I think the R35 is a very good candidate. Edit: Just to check they were R-35s and not H-35s/39s?
  22. It's impossible to create new vehicles. One is only able to change the skins to create new camo schemes etc.
  23. Just out of curiosity is there like a small fdc team with the onmap mortars that's part of the crew? How else do they determine aim for indirect fire?
