Well, It's still the actual position that a Trooper is in that determines how easily he gets spotted or how well he spots back (Prone is better then kneeling which is better then standing)....So, Yes. -

Actually, my Comment was meant to be in your favor (with my usual slight sarcasm)...It's just a Good thing for a Newbie to come up with Suggestions in this thread, and not just sit idle on the sidelines. -

I have a fix for that, and It's a Mod from 'Rockin Harry'...http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=713 Oh, do you mean for BF to make a permanent fix in the Game Engine ?...Yeah, I think so too. -

I'm in agreement with IanL on this one (for once...Ok, maybe a few times). -

+1, and BF should've not included this feature to begin with...However, I think BF is trying to coincide RT & WEGO options together (like many other options) so that one Game Mode doesn't play out too much differently from the other. So, if you said don't include this option in WEGO Mode (turn based), then how does that effect RT Mode where you are allowed to place Orders, check LOS, etc, (basically, eat-chit-sleep) every second if you wanted to (by simply pausing the game anytime you feel like it)...BF would have to implement say a 15 second Auto Pause in order to place Orders, check LOS, etc, so that both games play out closely. -

Little glitches/observations/suggestions

1. Yeah, the 'Ammo Pool' is a little simplified in CM, but it will have to do...Also, and If I had it my way, 'Acquire Ammo' should not be used in a CM Scenario...Things like that should take place in between Scenarios of a Campaign. 2. That's interesting for sure, and you would think by taking the extra MG from HT Mount, (and thus making it a 2x LMG, 9-man squad) would cost more...An oversight by BF ? -
Yeah, but where I'm going to put it I think it's going to be too big...So, and just out of curiosity, you have no issues with that 30" Widescreen Monitor with CMx1 or CMx2 (no Graphic Stretching, etc) ?
-
Ok, my Dell 190s, a 19" 5:4 Resolution non-widescreen monitor (2010 time frame) with 5MS died and thinking of getting the same or slightly larger to play both CMx1 & CMx2, and some older FPS Games like Red-Orchestra and it's Mods. I've had no problems with that Dell for all the above games (no Graphics stretching, etc), but looking for same or slightly bigger Dell (20") non-widescreen monitor...So, I also noticed a Dell 2007FP (20") 5:4 Resolution non-widescreen but with only 12MS and is 2-3 years an older model type, and thinking of maybe getting that instead of repeat monitor. Questions:...Do you think I should stay with my Dell 190s Model or try and go for that slightly bigger (not necessarily better) monitor ?...I'm also wondering if the Dell 2007FP with it's 12MS would matter much if playing CMx2 or those older FPS Games. Of course, if there are other similar non-widescreen Monitors that you would like to recommend, then that would be nice too. Joe

Correct...Actions in CM already happens way too fast compared to RL, and increasing the One-Minute Turn would definitely screw with Gameplay.

Oh, I'm sure, Heriloom, understands what is actually happening under the Hood is completely different then his 'Feel Good' moment story lines. However, it's those 'Feel Good' moments that brings us all back to CM. Corporations give money to 'Charity', and the public feels good about it...Thou, the only reason for Corporations giving that money is for Tax write-offs.

I'm simply 'Mortified' at you Crescendo of Doom, lol...You may need to extract that Subdued Terrain File by using a 7-Zip program or similar, then drop into Z Folder.
-
Ahh, Ok...I have 4x Combat Mission Games, and I just linked them all by using the Desktop Icons. Thou, I will probably keep the Settings on them all the same as 'Global' (seems to work pretty well for me). Thanks again...
-
You can also use Alt+C...It will give you a Wide Angle View, and helps you navigate around Map better.
-
3PO, what does that 'CM: Final Blitzkrieg' Logo located top-Left of AMD Radeon Settings do...Mine just says 'Global Settings'. Joe

Not sure what Mods he uses, but since he is going to give it to you in a Dropbox Folder, anyways...What are you asking ? So, you will need a Dropbox Account and he will send you an invite (give him your Dropbox email address), then you will see that Folder in your Dropbox. Joe

I noticed this 'Bug' a long time ago (along with few other Vehicles, if I remember)...This Sherman Crew Member is Partially exposed through side of Turret while moving. Joe

Putting the game down, too buggy to enjoy. Sorry Oppo's. *vid*

Oh, and I see now, the Capt. was a Drill Sargent at first...That explains away his attitude towards him -
Nvidia...your such a Heathen

True...I could be playing that, so called, Real-Time Option...The thought of that, just Mortifies me

I only play WEGO against AI or Human Opponents, and have a 'House Rule' for players to only check LOS and 'Area-Fire' (no Direct Targeting allowed) at beginning of turn (and not at every way-point). Thou, I'm debating on changing that so a Player is allowed to 'Area-Fire' at Beginning of Turn, and at one additional way-point (of course allowing to check LOS of that way-point ahead of time).
