I can't figure out the British Airborne Recon and Assault Pioneers. Folkes chart has them with pistol, 2 lee, 4smg, 1lmg or something. Is it just late at night? I'm going to bed.

BTW David, this is how I did my CMBB PTO Asian faces. Asian for no collar and Caucasian for collared. In CMAK all the faces are shared, as best as I can tell, and are different shaped from BO and BB.

My CMAK 1956 AIW battle looks much better with the D's, aka Egyptian Shermans, in this camo. If PA is a GA then I expect to see some more good stuff.

Even worse is watching the enemy AI try to move vehicles. If the road goes throught scattered trees, the AI moves the vehicle very slowly along the edge of the road to gain the cover of the trees. I have also seen AFVs travel on a wall for 100s of meters when a jog to the right or left would have them in grass moving along swiftly.

Any chance you will use the camo on anything else?

I don't know if this camo is historical, but it looks like I can use it in CMAK for AIW battles.

I opened editor, picked East Afrika, dropdown shows dirt, arid rocks, sand. Pick sand, preview shows sand. I repeated for Crete and NA, sand and arid. Normal operation for me. PC BFC 1.03

Real world vs game There are more than one type of fog and low clouds. An aviation school can sell you some books. I played quite a few ops before I realised there was random weather. In playtesting ops with random weather, it seems very hard to get duplicatable results. IMO avoid random weather.

Since what ifs and conspiracy theories go hand in hand; I wasn't alive in those days. I can only guess public and political sentiment of the times. The pre war planning and spending by the USA leads me to wonder if Pearl Harbor was allowed to happen to change public sentiment. Tero I am fairly sure that if the UK was occupied by the Nazis that things would have been different in the USA. The election results in the above link were fairly close. If Wilkie stayed with his pro war platform, with an occupied England, maybe he wins and Congress has to follow his lead.

I found this site while looking for BTR-152s IDF Modeling This page has a list of members models that you can view. Assuming they used reference materials for their colour schemes, I think I am on the right track with a creamy tan. I downloaded or had all the bicolour CMBB Axis mods. I think they will do well for some scenarios. Looks like some things were left green, and some were brown tone tri colours. The latest Axis mods from Patboy and Gautrek with worn tan over black give the impression of repainted grau and green WWII equipment. If I can make a BTR from a HT or Scout car I will post a pic.

Did your game crash like the first post? If so you have to wait for Schrullenhaft If you get the error when you try to start the game, I used to get that from McAfee anti virus fighting with the CDV copy protection.

Anti virus McAfee is especially hard to shut down.

However if your q is how to get random weather to be not so random in CM, I haven't figured that out.

Look up JFK's father Joe or Joseph Kennedy. Ford and GM did a lively business. As the US was primarily a country of British decendents, I think that if Hitler would have successfully invaded England, the US populace would have had a different attitude than pre Pearl.

From Hyperwar I got this CMH Chronology of US plans for Northern Ireland starting April 1941 showing that the US was planning for war long before Pearl Harbor. Today is the anniversary of the bombing. As it says at cmmods, never forget.
