My new video card did not change this test result. 2:12 with a couple of things running in the background. At the CWBR forum there is talk of setting page files to 2048 to speed up that game. Any thoughts on page files?

Check the specs to see if this computer has an AGP slot or available PCI slots before you buy your video card.

I modded a couple of peeps. Take 2 chick peeps and use the drink umbrellas as hats. Then take the little drink swords and push them into the side so the point is out the front. Put them in the microwave facing each other, with the sword tips touching. Start cooking. Samurai PEEPS !!!!

relee for a PC: What I do is install a CM then make a copy of the bmp folder. I rename that copy origbmp and move it somewhere outside that CM install. If you have the hard drive space you could do an additional install. We need to find out exactly which unit is white. When you see the unit, click on it then press enter to see what it is. Then I can track down which bmps you need.

McMMM will make a cmmos mod a regular mod. Look in your McMMM mod folder for an excmmos... zip file. Install that zip with McMMM.

This weekend I purchased a BFG FX5500 OC 256DDR. I see fog for the first time. I had a gift card for Best Buy and it seemed to be the best Nvidia for 4x, low requirements (250W minimum). I have a 300W PS with 22A on the 3.3V My K7SEM is version 1.01 and AGP 2.0 compliant. There was an uninstall ATI listed in Add/Remove programs along with other ATI items. I navigated to my ATI folder and found the uninstaller. I used it instead of the Windows manner. That seemed to remove all traces of ATI. The driver CD installed and set the default at 60hz. That caused a buzz in an AM radio nearby. I started up a CMAK and it asked me for a preference at 85hz. (Remember the previous thread about my new monitor.) After making sure the game worked ok, I changed my display refresh rate to 85hz, the highest listed in Windows display properties. Radio buzz went away. Now to see how CWBR runs. Thanks for all the help guys.

Have you looked at the CMAK mods for early war and Sealion? Have you tried any of Hans' CMAK May 1940 battles? Andrew's Crete FJ uniforms can be renumbered to any month / year FJ unit. Let me know if you need any help.

If they are cmmos 4.05 mods there are some mistakes in the file sets that cause certain bmps not to be applied. White indicates lack of bmp. Or did you apply a non-cmmos mod with cmmos?

Utopian outlook: Yes, wonderful, everybody should make two versions. Reality: Tough to get feedback on anything. Twice the work. It is hard enough to get either version to work properly. Thoughts: Make H2H or AI only versions not both. Non historical H2H might as well play quick battles. BFC claims most people play vs AI.
