  1. Early-mid-late models refers to factory production, not mods. Uniforms have a whole different scheme. Quick battles allow purchase by date. Someone did an ETO mod for early war bmp numbers so that you could play ETO QBs. Not to be confused with the ETO mod for late war Italy. For Crete and Greece, I use grau. For DAK units look at Dey and Patboy mods for ideas and bmp numbers. PS the same AFV in CMBB and CMAK may not have the same bmp numbers or even the same number of bmps. Trail and error and way too much time spent learning what you want to know...
  2. Around June/July 43 Germany stopped painting things grau and started gelb. If you start a late war battle with an early war unit that was only grau (like a PZII), you will see a grau unit on your screen. IF you go into the editor and create a late war scen with a gelb only unit (like a Panther), then change the date to 1941 it will still be gelb on screen. Desert AFVs IIRC left the factory grau and were oversprayed at arrival with tan. Same rules as above plus the cutoff for getting kicked out of Afrika. Allied units that don't have paint changes may have low bmp numbers and no high bmp numbers. [ March 04, 2007, 01:55 PM: Message edited by: junk2drive ]
  3. Nice work. Nice splash too. You use text instead of graphics for the small arms. I have a Platoon CO with a MMG wickers and my Maxim shows as a coax. One of my Soviet squads has a Rifle garand. I'm glad you didn't include portraits. I think I will mod this to use with my CMAK 1940/Sealion install. Thanks for the mod.
  4. Yeah, there was no button to start a new thread, you beat me to it. Edit: when did it move to the bottom?? lol

    Wow.

One of us must have been sending vibes. I went to your website yesterday to see if there was anything new. Hope life is treating you well.
  6. Second email sent with alternate address.
  7. Email sent to both of you. Subject CMSF
  8. Welcome You'll get more response in the CMAK and CMBB forums. CMBO is the first edition, many years old, and does not have some of the features of CMAK and CMBB. I recommend the CMAK/CMBB package deal from here at BFC.
  9. Thanks for the update. Let me know when you need some playtesting. I threw together a battle with 10 M13/40s and a company of inf vs the same for the other side on a smallish map. Good fun with matched tanks and missed shots at range.
  10. After a brief search of the CMAK section to no avail, does anyone have any scenarios worth playing with the Aussies and Italians? I didn't come up with much at TPG or TSDII. I'd like to see a mirror battle with armour. (I've played Hans' Ridge battles)
  11. You beat me in the race to post the first thanks. Looks like we have something new to PBEM. daffy, how bout some new scenarios to go with this?
  12. Orphanage Hill for CMBB is in the Scenario Depot Salvage 4 zip at cmmods. You should get all the zips anyway.
  13. Try opening each bmp with MS Paint, then save. I had a similar problem on occasion with bmps created on a Mac.
  14. When in the scenario editor, then in the purchase screen the Axis displays first. If you trust each other, you can make an exit scenario. Have the Allied player purchase first, save and send to the Axis player. Axis then purchases and starts the battle, sends the setup to the Allies player. Of course pick a map and agree on terms before hand.
  15. My computer time: 90% surfing forums 10% playing games Probably more like 80 forums, 19 other websites, 1 games.
  16. It has been so long ago I don't remember. If the CMMOS exe creates the Rule Set folder, just dump all the zips into that folder. Then run configure. Just make sure that the mods that you download go into a folder outside of the GEM Productions folder. If you ever uninstall CMMOS it takes everthing with it.
  17. The older mods at CMHQ won't work for me with CMMOS 4.05. I downloaded the CMMOS 4.05 from cmmods by MikeT and the filesets. The compatable mods are by Mike but under the designer name CMMOS.
  18. cmg and cmh are CMAK files cme and cmf are CMBB cmb and cmc are CMBO g e and b are battles, h f and c are operations
  19. The only mods I made are buttons for the UI and splash screens. I have sent to you the PZIIF bmps. You make nice PZIIs.
  20. Yes, it uses moddable bmps that are then converted to dds files. Some of the graphics are png files. I have done some minor modding to these files in my game. The units use an all pieces on one bmp style.
  21. I deleted my website. You'll have to search through cmmods, keyword Pacific.
