  1. Most all of them. Played or playtested all of the PTO, Korea, Vietnam, SCW, AIW and early war scenarios. I have made mods for most of these. Enjoy.
  2. What do you suppose the poor bastards did in real life? And it doesn't get any better for the Allies later in the game with Shermans vs Tigers and Panthers.
  3. Windows comes with "sound recorder" program. Click start, all programs, accessories, entertainment, sound recorder. Open SR, click file, click open, at the bottom of the window click the down arrow and select all files. Find your desktop folder and select a mp3. Then save as... and pick wav. This is going to take a long time one at a time.
  4. Been a while since I used MPEG Suite and only for CW's mod. IIRC the program was written in the W98 days. You should be able to a. point the program to the zip or b. unzip the mp3 files into a new folder and point the program to that folder Then select all the mp3 files to convert and output to the same folder or a new folder as wav files. After converting to wav, copy and paste them into your CMBB wav folder.
  5. Good to hear you are having fun. www.zimorodok.org has some good mods from when cmmods was broken. Click on Hosted Mods after entering the site. If you have a USB port on the old computer, you can buy a thumbdrive with a large capacity fairly cheap these days. You can copy the mod zips from the old computer to the thumbdrive and copy them to the new computer. Or write the mods to CDs as a backup and to put on the new computer.
  6. www.cmmods.com Click CMBB Click By Designer Click Captain Wacky Click All Click Other
  7. Yep, and nobody's done it better than you. Thanks for your mods.
  8. An autonomous Kurdish "nation" solves the "inventing" part. Maps are real. History is known. IIRC Turkey is a big supplier of USA uniforms, wants to be friendly with the West, and is afraid of Kurdish unification. It just looks like the kind of mess that the USA likes to get involved in.
  9. Kurdish autonomy. The USA is already there, and is liked by the Kurds.
  10. Trenches, mines and wire must be purchased. They are not map items. Only sandbags and walls are in the map editor and offer minimal protection.
  11. Sequoia is the one to talk to about that. He has made uniforms for Belgians, Dutch and Norwegians. I mostly took other people's mods and made them work for CMAK.
  12. Try late war FJ. Usually the SMG squads run out of ammo before they run out of enemy fodder.
  13. Code changes, as you say, are in the exe
  14. If you don't care how things look, the scenarios play just fine in regular CMAK. Just like other user made scenarios as you said. If you want it to look like ETO, check out David I's Normandy mod and ETO mod.
  15. Do a search at cmmods keyword Pacific. I tried to include PTO or Pacific in the description text of all my mods. For some good scenarios in the PTO and CBI look for Hans name at TSDII.
  16. His status is jones-ing? How do we get him a fix?
  17. No more CMx1, no PTO. A forum search for Pacific will give you some background on the subject. Years ago a PTO mod was made for CMBO. I made some mods for CMAK. Hans made some scenarios too. Go to www.cmmods.com The CMBO mods are for the CMMOS mod manager The CMAK mods are for the McMMM mod manager There are scenario packs and archive zips at cmmods and IIRC Hans uploaded all of his CMAK PTO at The Scenario Depot II.
  18. This is what I have: Here is the complete Sound Effects map for Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin. Hopefully this map will assist someone that is attempting a sound mod. 19. imageshack seems to be the popular free site.
  20. The Brit troops will still be in short uniforms in early war battles.
  21. If you are interested in Grau AFVs for the Germans, I posted some notes at TPG in FAQ/Tools area under Research, How to Grau in CMAK. Most of it is for Sealion scenarios using late war units but I included this list for using CMBB mods in CMAK. This list is for CMAK early war: List to Tom of units available in Crete for Greece. 22. First you need to have the pics on a website. Then you ckick the "full reply form" button at the bottom of the "quick reply" box. In the full reply form will be a image button. That will give a popup box for the url of the pic.
  23. For the PC wargame WinSPWW2, Pyros Lambert has made a massive campaign around the ANZAC and Greek forces. Check with him for resources and maps. http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/threads/ubbthreads.php or at the SZO forums in the Steel Panthers section under the name Achilles.
