The arrow keys rotate and tilt better than the mouse. I can live with that.

I am left handed and WASD doesn't work for me. Holding the mouse wheel down to tilt and pan is my prefered method.

I'm using a brass ashtray that was my Father in law's. On the bottom is: 8.8 cm Flak 18 plus 1938 and some other numbers He was a machinist in the USAAF in NA. He probably made it for himself.

Try a forum search for his posts or read his description at cmmods. It's been so long I don't remember. I didn't like it and never dl'd any of them.

George is very good but some of his are too big for my little brain. BTW Cabe, don't bother with modding wire and trenches. Philippe's wire and Juju's trenches are all you need. Anything from Philippe and Juju is very good.

Roughly, Waffle G, SS troops Fallschirmjager, Airborne or Paratrooper Gebirgsjager, Mountain troops Volksstrum, conscripted civilians In the game the type of troops has no effect on gameplay. There may be differences in weapons carried for certain types in certain months and year. Level has more effect (like veteran or elite). Google searching to figure all this out is fun too.

Hi Pat No TOW for me, I'm too old and slow for RT. My computer might not like it either. I went backwards and started playing Talonsoft's Campaign Series. Still playing Steel Panthers, CMBO CMBB and CMAK.

On a Windows PC, I learned by opening My Computer, then the C: drive, then the game folder, then the bmp folder, and selecting "thumbnails" from the "views" list. Then I scrolled down the page looking at all the pictures. PBs are in the 300s, buildings in the 6000s, uniforms 9000s, and so on. Winter uniforms are 59000s like AFVs but buildings throw a curve. Summer 6000s, damaged 6100s, winter 6500, damaged 6600. PBs winter CMBO started with 340 and winter 10340 but CMBB and CMAK went to 50340 but the last CMAK patch put them back to 10340. For CMAK only. Confused??? If you find a CMAK PB mod from before the patch, you must renumber the 50340s to 10340s. CMAK desert starts with 30000 so buildings are 36000s, PBs 30340s. In the 1200s you will find all kinds of goodies.

Try right click on the download link and save as... Could be your browser or firewall settings preventing you from dl'ing.

The 3rd party mod section is for CMBO. The website goes back to the beginnings of CM. The new mod section that you found is what I was talking about.

Cabe, to the right of your name and the date and time is a picture of paper and pencil. Click it and you can edit your mistakes. CMHQ has desert mods for Matildas and early Stuarts.
