  2. RE: Berlichtingen's example with 0s and one 19 I have a CMAK map with 7s open ground and a couple of single 8s on a 5m map. In BO this is a spike. In AK it is a flat top rise. Problem is when I save and exit, then go back in to editor, the 8s are gone. In fact, single 8s in other places are gone too. ???
  3. Not until cmmods comes back online. When it does, search CMAK by designer for my PAC / PTO mods. They are mostly conversions of MikeT's Pacific mod for CMBO. For use with McMMM or do like I did and have a separate install. Pics at my site. At the Scenario Depot are many PTO scenarios by "Hans"
  4. Thanks for the info. I would like to try it out. There are some CMBOs that are interesting enough to convert to BB and AK. I'll poke around and see what I find.
  5. Trying out an idea that probably isn't new. I uploaded to TPG a zip with two small battles designed to show new players some movements and combined arms tactics. I chose AIW 1973 Golan Heights fictional battle, Israelis vs Syrians with (Soviet)M4 Shermans battling (Captured)T34s Airborne for both because of the camo uniforms. This is a tutorial pack for new players but can be enjoyed by seasoned veterans as well. Contains: Golan version 1.0 battle Golan version 1.5 battle tougher Flag pack with markers Arab and Israeli Flag pack with markers BFC originals Thanks to Mark and POS for testing.

  7. Jason, is that scenario available anywhere? A search at TSD didn't find it. I liked Dan Brown's DZXray for BB and remade it into CMAK. At TSD.

  12. Andrew Fox has already done ETO uniform mods for CMAK for Heer, SS, LW at cmmods (down at this time). Less than 2mb each.

  14. Sorry "game balance at the expense of accuracy" Sometimes the game just won't let you do historical things like fire through smoke and trees.

  16. Sorry about your accident. The wireframes for soldiers in BB an AK is basically the same. Helmets are different for the nations. Since there is no gameplay difference between types of soldiers, only squad man numbers etc, you can put any uniform on any body. ie, I have Soviet uniforms on Heer Jager for North Koreans. If LW infantry is available in late war Italy, you choose that date in the editor, select those troops, the change the date to whatever you want. CMAKdb shows LW infantry starting June 44, 9 man squads.

  19. It could be your anti virus or firewall. Some things do that to me at work behind a McAfee sonicwall but are fine at home.
  20. Must be why I find the AI a challenge. And lose at PBEM. But when you win...
  21. Helos in SPMBT work well. Limited ammo, wary of SAMs and AA fire. Supression effects are about like CMx1 arty. Hit and miss with a lot of miss.
  22. IIRC 4.03 works for CMBB and the mods at CMHQ are made for it. 4.05 only works with the mods made to 4.05 in my experience with CMBO mods.
  23. CMx1 was all I wanted in a 3D SPWW2/SPWAW CMx2 could be SPMBT in 3D. SPMBT has plenty of historical scenarios post 1946.
