  1. They recieved 2,400 STG 44s, as recorded in the diary of OKH on June 14th 1944. Not sure whether that means they also actually had them when Bagration began. Army Group North, not Centre btw.
  2. Serves him right for chosing so many tanks and TD's. Baneman is completly confused about the never ending stream of vehicle contacts that turn up in front of him. Bil is defending with an attack force, Baneman is attacking with a defence force and doing a better job....so far....
  3. I do. But some divisions, like the 1st (Prussian) infantry division for example, had more STG-44s than most other divisions. It would be nice to simulate that.
  4. Yes, excellent positioning of your Panther and Jagdtiger, Baneman. Well done!
  5. Well, like the old Frundsberg used to say: 'More enemies, more honour'.
  6. I also would like to see more STG-44s in regular units. Historical or not.
  7. You may indeed ask that question. It also questions whether this allows a balanced battle. As soon as you lose your Jagdtiger or Panther the battle is over. So you can't afford to advance anymore. I do not entirely understand Bil's choice to pick so much armor in an AAR. Still a great battle though.
  8. Which is probably the best way to assure you will never get what you want. BF needs the support of a rather small community of buyers to be able to develop these unique games and make a profit. Despite some empty remarks by certain people there simply isn't anything that can touch CM. So stop behaving like a little boy, buy the game (I'm pretty sure you will enjoy it), continue to ask for what you want (BF really listens) and one day even you will be satisfied. The same goes for you, Warrenpeace. Stop moaning.
  9. I'd pull back that Jagdtiger asap and hopefully Bil will get nervous by all your infantry with possible AT-weapons and won't follow you too boldly.
  10. Excellent! Now, keep your distance. I wouldn't be surprised if Bil tried a Charge of the Light Brigade.
  11. By all means slow your pace, guys. You've deserved some rest. We owe you a lot for all you've done so far.
  12. Kohlenklau! Don't worry about it! You already gave us so much. Think of your health. We can and we will wait.
  13. Amazing work, Barbaricco. Sorry, Kohlenklau, modding really isn't my thing. I would never be satisfied with my own work and would not enjoy it.
  14. I've said it before and I will say it again: you guys deserve a knighthood for all your work. Absolutely stunning in quality and quantity!
  15. Not really, Kohlenklau. Haven't got the skill for it, I'm afraid. I'm using your winter mod now, but not for the vehicles. I like it better that way for the moment. Snow has just fallen and winter sets in. So early winter at the eastern front. But perhaps sooner or later I will try my luck with modding on the pine trees and make them more snowy.
  16. Great subject and superb that we have such talented scenario builders and mod makers around.
  17. Happy New Year everyone! Personally I hope we also will see building/tree/landscape packs sooner or later. The variety of buildings, trees and other landscape aspects is satisfying, but such a pack would be very welcome. Not sure whether people would be willing to pay for it though. I know I gladly would.
  18. Defend the town, but keep on hurting his infantry, concentrate your armor if possible, if not use your 251s as bait and do not make any bold moves. It is always hard to attack an opponent who has armor superiority. There's more pressure on Bil to win this battle, so let him make the mistakes. And stop loading men on tanks or SPW's. I think you are doing well, Baneman. Bil is good, but so are you. It is always easier to defend, especially with so many tanks. Keep calm. p.s. obviousely you are a much better player than I am and the last thing you need is my advice, but I get carried away a bit by this AAR.
  19. Schlagen aus der Nachhand (backhand blow). Manstein would have been proud of you, Bil. Very impressive. A little reckless of Baneman to load that HQ guys on that Panther so close to the front.
  20. Christmas continues! Thank you, Kevin. Also a big compliment with regard to the Winter mountain horizons. Absolutely breathtaking.
  21. So many great details, Baneman. That Stummel camo, those GI helmets, those bushes. This game really looks good.
