  2. rich12545, Surprise contacts usually give an advantage to the hidden unit but in the case where the hidden unit is too weak to attack first you will have the chance to attach either the surprised unit or any other unit in range... but it does not happen that often. Hubert
  3. In game and at the "top center" of the information bar you will see the expected odds of an attack but of course if the unit is hidden fog of war applies and the expected odds are unknown. Hubert

For the mini campaigns these objectives are highlighted on the game map but for now we have chosen not to show them on the main campaigns such as Operation Z as often the victory positions change or move depending on the scripts or how the game progresses. Additionally there might be several locations that can vary the victory conditions, i.e. Japan has quite a few combinations of victory positions that can bring them anywhere from an all out Decisive Victory to a Tactical Victory and this is hard to show visually on the map.   7. GeneralDud, I would suggest taking a look at the manual for how to best link HQs for supply. This is covered with some detail in the original SC2 Blitzkrieg manual and it should help you for a better understanding of the overall situation etc. Hope this helps, Hubert
  8. Huhr, there are two items required the 1939 historical folder as well as the campaign file. Are both of these in the 'Campaigns' folder? Also, can you be sure that they are the correct mods for your version of SC2? For example there are modded versions I believe for the WaW expansion as well as the PDE expansion. Hubert

  10. Hey Jonathan, I looked at the turn and as you suspected via email I can pretty much confirm that it was likely placed the same turn as even units that have 0 supply still get a minimum of 1 AP unless it is a newly placed unit. Hopefully he gets out of those Tokyo bars soon enough Hubert

  13. Ok looks like I misunderstood the original question as I was for some reason just thinking of the Japanese DECISIVE victory but Scott did find a bug with the Allied Major Victory and this is now fixed for the first patch release, thanks! Hubert

  15. Very odd then as our pre-release testing indicated that the DECISIVE victory condition did work as intended but if you have a saved turn I'd be happy to take a look and confirm that it is either a bug or that not all condition positions were satisfied. Hubert
  16. Scott, For the victory conditions there are several so it all depends on which one you are looking at. For Japan there is a DECISIVE victory condition that will automatically terminate the game if all those resources are captured, for the rest the victory conditions don't trigger until the end of the game.   19. Hi Rich, Elite reinforcements are only available once you achieve at least 1 full experience point and your units are at strength 10. For purchased units there may be a production delay before they arrive and other units on the production queue may be arriving such as the air unit etc. They may also arrive via unit scripts as well. Hubert

  22. scottsmm, This is actually a debug feature that players can also use to watch AI vs AI games or for modders to use to test their creations. F3 turns off AI animation and F4 enables AI vs AI mode. Hope this helps, Hubert
  23. Georgebogdan, Here is a quick hotfix for anyone with the same issue, it is the current Beta EXE for the first patch and is fully compatible with the release version. Once you download it you just need to run the installer and it should update the game for you. If it installs correctly it will display v1.01.01 Beta in the lower right hand side of the screen when in the MAIN MENU screen. http://www.furysoftware.com/download/Strategic_Command_WWII_Pacific_Theater_v10101Beta_Patch.exe Note, if you haven't encountered this issue there is no need to download this hotfix.   24. Karhu, Usually the AI does make significant and coordinated landings but we have found a few situations where there is room for improvement. Essentially if the human player does a few things that the AI is not expecting it can throw off these landings and create a situation as you described above. Good news is that I've made a few adjustments to the AI scripts and it should hopefully be able to better handle situations as these for the first patch. Hubert
