  1. Can you try a reboot to see if it solves the issue as this sounds like a computer hiccup more so than an issue with the game. Hubert
  2. You can manually try and have it register by going to Start->Run and typing in the following: regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Battlefront\Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg\dx7vb.dll" Note, this is using the default path and if you installed to a different directory then you need to change the above path to reflect this. Also you need to keep the quotes, i.e. "" to ensure the proper path is found. It should work though if UAC is disabled, can you double check to make sure? Hubert
  3. There were no changes to the TCP/IP for the v1.06 WaW patch, perhaps bad luck?
  4. ssn767, If this is Vista then unfortunately you need full Administrator rights to get the program up and running for the first time as Microsoft has made some changes with how it allows certain programs to register on the operating system. If you've tried running as an Administrator and it still did not work then my guess is that you still do not have full permission to run the program on the computer. Can you confirm that your log in account has full rights? i.e. it is not a work computer or something like that with user restrictions etc. If you do have full permission/administrator rights to use this computer, i.e. it is a home computer etc., another thing you can try is to temporarily disable the UAC system on Vista to simply get the game up and running the first time and then you can re-enable it as the DLL registration service is only required once. To do this you will have to go to your Control Panel and there is more information found here on how to do this exactly: http://www.vista4beginners.com/How-to-disable-UAC Hope this helps, Hubert
  5. Jackharry, There is also an Allied AI event that will have Germany Declare War on the USA, i.e. an Allied AI helper etc. and if you disable this one then it should no longer occur. Hope this helps, Hubert
  6. This was an adjustment made to help balance out the striking power of Tactical Bombers... this way players that still want them can have them on the map but will have to purchase this previously free unit. Hubert
  7. Logan, nothing official just yet but we are working, behind the scenes, to create an update to this fantastic campaign with all the recent changes/additions to the game engine fully incorporated. Hubert
  8. jackharry, Take a look at the 'War Entry' events in game under Advanced->Scripts. Turn off the event for USA Historical Entry and it should do the trick. Hope this helps, Hubert
  9. Hi Chodan, In the subfolder for the new campaign you've made, you'll need to copy 2 files over from the Global scenario's folder. They are: campaign.ini localization.txt This should fix it for you. You'll also need to copy over these two folders as they contain the images specifically used by the Global Scenario: Bitmaps Interface Hope this helps, Hubert
  10. We've provided them with the files but unfortunately it will be up to them to put one together for their version as we have little control over that. Hubert
  11. If the older scenarios were v1.08 compatible then they will also work under the v1.09 Blitzkrieg patch. Hope this helps, Hubert
  12. Ah Ok thanks for the clarification and yes there is a bug when the USSR is set to completely neutral... I will fix this, thanks. Hubert
  13. Scottsmm, can you clarify what you mean by keeping a country at 0%? I'm not really sure what this means and it would help before I respond. Thanks, Hubert
  14. Just to clarify, the AI does get some free units here and there and may get an increase in MPPs depending on the difficulty settings but no free research chits... although it may have more to purchase if it has extra MPP etc. Hubert
  15. Hi Montrose, 1) Unfortunately not for PBEM games as this is one of the methods we've long employed to help limit cheating 2) Not exactly. Any attached HQ will increase a unit's readiness versus not being attached but of course the increase will be higher if it is 10 and lower if less. Hope this helps, Hubert
  16. K Man, I believe we were experimenting with the new Carrier display modes and before we officially finalized the changes the new mode became available in the v1.01a Hotfix. Either way it looks like this will be finalized for the official v1.02 patch as most players now seem to prefer it. Hubert
  17. Nope, not done at all just yet... I think there will be a few good surprises on the SC front if all goes well this year
  18. Willy, the hotfix patch has been updated to perform an automatic install of the corrected EXE so it should be pretty straightforward now. Hubert
  19. Good ideas guys and it is a tricky one for sure, something I'd have to think about some more if it would ever get implemented.
  20. Unfortunately not really. You may get some data to import OK, but since the country lists are not the same, i.e. Pacific has fewer countries, it will probably not import all data as expected.
