  1. Rob, God bless and keep you and your parents. 3 years after having a lung removed for cancer, my mother is just now finally getting back to normal, so I know how hard it is to live your own life and take of them. Hang in there.
  2. CMx2 will be so incredible that there is no way we will be able to go back. BB and AK are so close, that I play both, but I haven't touched BO since the day BB came out. CMx2 will be a much bigger quantum leap than from BO to BB/AK, I suspect. Charles will shock and amaze us, I have no doubt. So let's hope that he doesn't come to harm, as the poster aboved fretted over....

No big deal against the AI, but a big deal versus a human opponent (as an aside, KT was actually quite reliable, slow due to being underpowered, but after initial mechanical bugs worked out, getting off good roads and bogging was the main thing that kept them out of combat) 10. Repairs are out of the scale of the time frame of CM battles, and casualties represent just that: dead, severely wounded, moderately wounded and lightly wounded but unable to continue in combat. Additional categories serve nothing. Troops can either fight, or not, for purposes of a tactical battle.

  14. Absolutely agreed. Please post your maps at The Depot or the CMMODS Map section. Pretty please? Many of us love those type maps, but have to use the little rl time we have available for this sort of thing to actually play!

  16. Looks great, but the Soviets never have one of anything. Any chance to get without the tactical number?
  17. Absolutely. The muzzle velocity is nowhere near fast enough to render the projectile untrackable by the eye, if (and this is important) the direction of travel is reasonably close to the path of vision (ie, you likely won't see much if you are perpendicular to the path of flight).

  19. Good terrain and about a 30m cover armor command makes them pretty effective.
  20. Got bad news for you. 50 guys with muskets at 200m will kill you very dead before you kill too terribly many of them.
