  1. Don't just uninstall. Use a driversweeper as well: eg. http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/. There's always some old junk the uninstall doesn't clean.
  2. Looks good, but make sure you force anti-aliasing the next time you capture.
  3. Not like you would have 67.000 new climate refugee neighbours.
  4. Thank you Tarquelne. Good post as always and that's not being sarcastic!
  5. They're having problems getting people to sign up. They're even trying to get women to join these days. It all failed. Animals were next in line.
  6. If I recall correctly I used to have an even earlier member number and join date, but there was this infamous crash back in the day.
  7. I've been using Moccamaster for years. It brews excellent coffee. In general I would say there really is a difference between cheap and expensive coffee machines. I've had a few machines over the years and the Moccamaster is the best. Don't forget to clean them regularly though. Even the best machine will make bitter coffee if it's dirty.
  8. Yeah coincidentally we just discussed OF2 the other day. Just proves Google works I guess. Congratulations with your first post Cerebrus. Does your work pay good? Is it good work for students?
  9. I'm excited but I'm not sure I agree with the casting. Sir Ian McKellen isn't getting any younger and that's exactly what he should've been in this role.
  10. Not political? You're being ironic right? They say kids don't understand irony. Well you can add non-native english speakers to that list. The irony of that comic is that he wants to win a spot in the congress on issues and not on how much money he's got... Nice advertising campaign he's got going. I wonder if his "backup" know what they're backing?
  11. It's impossible to make contracts of this scope unpolitical. Local or defense contractor "friendly" politicians would of course exert pressure for a US solution. Their voters or "backers" would demand so. The danger of always giving contracts to US contractors will obviously lessen competition in the long run, with all the disadvantages that gives a buyer. If you give a few contracts to overseas contractors your military might save some billion dollars in the long run. Everything is political. What is most important? US employment, govt organization needs (eg. AF) or price? Norway and Denmark is in the process of buying new fighter planes these days. It was between the Eurofighter, F-35 and the Gripen. The Eurofighter - and the best choice for Norwegian needs in my opinion - withdrew because they felt the competition gave the US alternative unfair advantages. It's now between the Swedes and US. There's talks on government level about increasing the scandinavian defense co-operation. Sharing airfields, patrolling each others airspace/waters and general military integration. For us it's not a question about what our airforce want. It's a question about what strategic alliances our politicians will make for the future. Our current labour government is however in a hurry. They're dead certain to loose the 2009 election to liberal-conservatives and that means a continued US dependance for Norway. It's all politics.
  12. I'd say this game is much more complete than 95% of any other so called strategy game these days. Great work guys.
  13. A Streetfighter game based on hilly D-Day maps, interesting.
  14. Who are these professors you speak about? I have a few questions I've been wondering about myself.
  15. I'm not sure that not hearing anything means that they're sitting about smoking pot. I'm pretty sure the time spent will show.
  16. To be honest my expectations for this game is increasing. Let it simmer for as long as BFC seems fit and we'll get a better product.

    Hello?

Yeah and I get a kick out of you talking about it since it was called Battlefield Command. I've been following it since it was called 'WWII RTS'. So do I get a cookie or something?
  18. You're looking for 'Optics II' the binocular simulator. Not my cup of tea, I think the Zeiss compact binoculars are overpowered. Sounds like your kind of game though.
  19. "-Attitude of soldiers corrected" Did they change it to good or bad?
  20. I used to have a much better number until their infamous crash back in the days
  21. The M14 must be one of the most beautiful rifles ever engineered. Would sure like to own one.
  22. Just strenghtens what a bad idea it is to engage in US/western terms of engagement. While their forces might be good to intimidate their neighbours, the tech gap to western armies is just too big. Have any of the US-hostile states in the region learnt their lesson? Investing in tanks and planes seems pretty expensive and inefficient today. I wonder if Iran and Syria is re-organizing their armies in view of the succesfull Taliban and Iraq resistance?
