  1. Hi, is this new single player campaign in the Battlefront Uberpatch also included in the Kalypso Uberpatch? From the Ueberpatch description on 1C publishers homepage it seems that the Kalypso uberpatch includes a different new single player mission but not a new campaign. Best Regards
  2. Hi, how long is the total battle duration of the new Panzer-Lehr demo, because after some attacks by Britsh Armor I don't know what shall I do as next step to win. Best Regards
  3. Thank you Uwe for these great news. The release date of TOW at the end of January sounds really good. "Long-range duels (MUCH longer than you’ll see in the typical RTS game including some of the new releases" That's exactly what I want. Because tanks play an important role in TOW it would be far away from realistic if the battles with tanks involved play always in these short ranges like in the typical RTS games. Since more than half a year I play RO and I really hate these "fantasy" tank maps which have a landscape which makes it almost impossible to fight in long-range tank battles.
  4. Yes, TOW is no tank sim, but anyhow is the line of sight of the player or computer controlled soldiers important. [ December 03, 2006, 03:01 AM: Message edited by: TankCommander ]
  5. I think every serious tank commander in WWII had a binocular. At least the leader of a tank group should have a binocular. So if TOW doesn't support this it cannot be called realistic. Then it's just one more of these dozens of unrealistic RTS games out there. In almost every RTS game you command all of your troops from a birds view position high above the battlefield. Which commander or general in WWII had this possibility except he flew with a airplane? It would be great if TOW supports a binocular when you are locked to the tank commanders view.
  6. Hello All, sorry if I compare TOW with Red Orchestra because both games are totally different type of games. RO is a FPS and TOW is a RTS game. But anyhow I really like to use the binocular in RO. So my question is will TOW support the use of a binocular in order to see enemy infantry, tanks etc. that are more far away? To switch between the normal sight and a binocular is much more faster and useful for inspecting near and far away combined arms forces than using keyboard or the mouse wheel to zoom in and out to different directions of sight. To see the enemy first before he see's you is vital in land combat!!! TankCommander [ November 25, 2006, 10:59 AM: Message edited by: TankCommander ]
