  1. This was the best sound mod, in my opinion. I have to combine it with the new stuff from other sound mods.

  4. Remember that the graphic of your troops throwing a demo charge is really a substitute for them rushing up to the tank and assaulting it. You can't do that from inside a second story building. A one story building you could argue that they run outside and assault the tank, but I don't think it's in the game.
  5. Ahhh... He is saying (I think) that if you have no opening in the wall than you cannot throw a grenade over the wall. This is, indeed, strange. I will test this when get home.
  6. Hey, "The Hobbit" comes out in december. I can't wait! Also....there is a woman in the submarine in "Das Boot" in one of the scenes by accident. It is the sound girl. Looks like a cute blond. It is when the sub hits the bottom and the captain is looking at the depth meter.

  8. Well I'm going to use that video as evidence that we need longer bursts from our MG teams. I know it's not a text book example of the use of a MG but it is a REAL WORLD example of the use of a MG.
  9. In this previously posted video why doesnt the M249 SAW gunner have to do a barrel change? Is it because the 5.56 is a lighter round? (That is a SAW right?)
  10. Also...the location that we play "Barkmans Corner" in the game is not the correct location. The real location was about 1 km to the east I believe. So the location in the game is modeled after an actual location...just the wrong location.

  12. Awhile ago I believe Steve talked to Charles and it was discovered that the only spotting bonus extracted from using an arc was from the fact that the unit would face into the arc. So other then because the unit is looking in the arc direction there is no other spotting bonus. I THINK I have that correct but maybe off.
  13. At least you can see the hero squad that killed the gun.....unless its off board arty.
  14. Getting your troops to actually use grenades BEFORE they enter a structure is a real crapshoot in this game. In CMx1 you could use the assault command and they would lob in nades as they were assaulting, much like real life. One of the frustrations of CMx2.
  15. The updated sounds for 1.10 are at the repository? I can't find them.
  16. Wish list? Okay. Smoke. More of it. Alot more of it. More smoke from tank guns firing and impacting and tank engines. The engines should belch more smoke when reving. Lots more smoke from arty strikes and when a building collapses. The smoke should last longer too.
  17. Known bug. Put it on the list of broken buddy aid stuff.
  18. I just wish they, and trenches, were more camoflaged.
  19. SlySniper, In my original post I did say that CMx2 is better then CMx1. It is my first sentence. I just wanted to get it off my chest what I miss about CMx1. I wanted all the points listed in one spot. My mind was racing and I couldn't sleep so I banged it out. It might be the 100th such list but there is no real harm in making them. Who knows? Maybe it will inspire the Devs to put one or two things back in before they originally planned to? It was going well until a certain someone posted. Oh well. My sandcastle has been kicked.
