I have to say I am in awe of Ukraine.
They have done brilliantly on the battlefield both relatively and absolutely.  They have been both student and teacher.
Their president has been masterful at gaining international support and staying in the fray.
They are very good with opsec and consistent messaging
I think they have no equal when it comes to trolling.  This trans border raid is brilliant.  The sinking of the Moskva on the day the snake island stamp gets released.  The constant, truly funny and well done jabs.
The incredible people of Ukraine who are true patriots -your bravery is amazing but needed in this existential threat.

This is not wolfshungel (it looks similar, but original symbol has otehr direction), this is nomogram I.N.  - Idea of Nation - which appeared in environment of young nationalists in early 90th, which later founded Social-National Party of Ukraine (SNPU). Author of symbol and its sense filling was Nestor Proniuk, PR-comissioner of SNPU. Gradually political platform of this party had been drifting from radical far-right to national-social-conservatism and since 2004 SNPU was transformed to party "Svoboda" (leader Oleh Tiahnybok). "Idea of Nation" symbol remained in use only among some marginal far-right movements, which formed a core of first "Azov" volunteer battalion in 2014. First commander of Azov was Andriy Biletskyi, former member of SNPU, which struggled against "party liberalisation" line of Oleh Tiahnybok, but lost and left "Svoboda", founding new organization "Patriot of Ukraine" with HQ in Kharkiv - second with such name, because first one was a youth wing of SNPU and it was disbanded by Oleh Tiahnybok. So, when "Azov" was founded, "IN" symbol became a symbol of battalion. And later because of good results and bright PR, "IN" became a "brand" of "Azov". Since 2019-20, when there was some criticism about "wolfshungel", this symbol was transformed to diagonal "IN", like three lines, striking from above. But old "IN" still in use to on some brigade's elements patches

As we sit and wait for the Ukrainians to kick off their offensive, I am reminded of how Miyomoto Musashi handled a couple duels... he would arrive very late, letting his opponent stew and really mess with their heads.  Could this be what is happening here? I don't think you can discount it, the Russians have to be pissing themselves with anticipation right now.

Last year,  after Kharkiv/Kherson,  the ZSU had shot its bolt and as a force needed to reset and reconstitute in the late fall/December, ending the escalating costs to Russia. The ZSU had to take its hand off the "Kill Ivans"  button.
This gave RUS time to infill with mobilized, helping it solidify its defense and apply pressure to Bakhmut. It then made sense for the ZSU to not run a winter campaign,  endure the Ivans attacks and prep for Summer. Russia has managed through this winter only because ZSU has been holding its punches.
This year Russia has shot their bolt early. Their reconstitution process is just barely able to keep up with the current levels of attrition but once the ZSU properly turns on flamethrowers the Russian front line units will melt. They might have some better formations in reserve,  despite the Bakhmut sucking wound,  but I highly doubt they're anywhere near as capable as even just that UKR armor brigade training in Sweden.
The early burning of Russian reserves will be critical to success later on, c.  the Fall,  forcing them to defend or maneuver with less and less capable units.
Ukraine now has the surging technical and organizational potential to kill far more Russian men far more quickly that Russia can replace them.
And this year, they'll be able to escalate that potential all through the year,  without stopping . They'll get better and better at killing Ivans, faster and faster, and at steadily less cost to themselves. They'll sit on that "Kill Ivans" button and they're not going to get off until the Job Is Done.
By using a steady beat of Offensive over the next nine months the ZSU will prevent the MoD from catching its breath.
They could push it past the threshold where Russia's reconstitution process will lag the attrition process so much that mobilized Russian men will be sent directly from the mobilization points into the Front. Get on the bus in the far reaches of Siberia,  get off the bus in Donetsk, and die in a Caesar strike. Glory to the New Tzar.
I'm still doubtfully of Crimea falling this year,  but I definitely see the mainland holdings reduced to much less that the Feb 24th lines.

Looks like the four Russian aircraft falling from the sky over Russia in the course of a few minutes was a Patriot ambush:
