  1. Exactly. Also, all the MP battles I have played have been with samller forces than the single player ones. 5 armored vehicles and a squad of infantry, 6 armored and no infantry, 2 squads and a couple of AFVs..that type of thing. It is a lot of fun. I had one battle where there was only 2 of us left and I still had 5 tanks and he had 1 and I lost them all.
  2. I have been playing it for a while and have seen nothing that changes the game speed. Other than pause. And the "pause" button does not work in MP. What I have found though is that normal speed is perfect. After playing a few times and get the "yipes" out the speed of the game feels just right. Not so fast that it is a clickfest and not so slow that you are waiting for stuff to happen.
  3. devildog0514, I have the same processor and it runs great. Even the large battles run smoothly.
  4. GunzAbeam, it won't be your left finger on the trigger. Targeting is a right click.
  5. To expand slightly on what Elamr said....I have sent men into abandoned tanks (both friendly and enemy) and had them bail out on their own as soon as they get in. This pretty much told me "don't be silly trying to think you're gonna operate that tank with those guys...nice try but it ain't happening". Now capturing a gun? That has not only saved me a few times but been VERY cool when you do it.
  6. Battalion would probably be too much to handle since you can control individual men. I usually "move" squad sized units but often will "target" with individual men. Imagine the work if you had a battalion.
  7. Hhmmmm.. Member number 22853 registered yesterday. AT the conservative end of the scale that would be 10%. Wow!!! And to think 2285 people bought these games? Blows my mind.....I did do the math correctly, right? Guys?.....I did do it right, right? Hello?....(slinks away defeated and emabarassed).
  8. I have had many times where the concealed enemy has caught me off guard. Even replaying a certain scenario(beware "Avalanche") where I KNOW where the bads guys are before I start I still can't shake them out of concealment until it is too late for me. I will also say that my guys die MUCH more easily in the open then when they are in an area containing woods. They also die faster when upright instead of crouched and prone. So to answer both questions, cover and concealment are certainly modeled in this game.
  9. Wow. That is great news El Presidente!!!
  10. Thanks for getting back to me. I have NVIDIA GeForce 6100 with driver 6.14.10.8133 I have not changed the Antialiasing. I changed the resolution after I uninstalled and reinstalled to try to fix the problem but not before.
  11. I just started getting the same thing with CMAK only. It seems to have just started happening for no reason. Rebooting doesn't seem to help.
  12. Dear Joe, Before I go listen I need to know if you say "Ping" like the golf club or "Peng" like the title of this thread. If you are still on about golf clubs I won't be able to listen. Love, Elvis P.S. Numbering turns is for lemmings.
  13. I held back before but my quick drive through Orleans reminded me of Camden, NJ more than anything else and I felt no desire to stop. Hit the right pedal heavy in my 3 cyl Peugeot and blew through as fast as I could. Good thing I had a healthy head full of Burgundian wine for that part part of the drive. Wouldn't want to be driving sober through that mess.
  14. There are some that say size matters but I'm not one of them. In most cases I prefer a smaller one but can handle a big one if I have to.
  15. PawBroon you old space dog. Don't I owe you a beer or two? Or is it Hiram who owes. Most likely Hiram. Drove through Orleans once going from Beaune to Ambois.
  16. Dear stikkypixie, I just tried it with jpg instead of html and it didn't work. Damn damn damn. Love, Elvis
