  1. Do you know if the Achillies and Churchill XI was used by the British?
  2. OK, in depth criticism. Always good to have. I guess the point is - what are YOU going to do about it? Don't like it? Do it better. The people who made the campaign are unpaid volunteers and have just the same tools as you do. So if you hold such strong, detailed ideas about what should happen - do it yourself. Post here and you may get some people to help you do it. There's scenario designers present who, if you convince them of your ideas, would probably help you realise what you visualise. There you go. It's your chance to step up and do better. Good luck.
  3. If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes should fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.
  4. Yes, it'll do that but within the grid it'll move around. Bear in mind a building is treated as a single action square so the shots are spread over a whole building.
  5. I can't remember last time I saw one of my troops route. I'm no tactical genius, I just use a lot of smoke and try not to get exposed. To add to what flamingknives was saying, routing troops go to "!" and disappear, troops displacing are trying to find somewhere less dangerous. If that happens to be toward the enemy then c'est la vie.
  6. Thanks Dan - that's my new favourite site.
  7. You know he means own side wounded that are red rather than yellow or black?
  8. ...I've never tried it but could a GPMG team re-sup from another vehicle then remount with the ammo?
  9. Set a 360 degree targeting arc (press shift for 360) that's as small as it needs to be to avoid firing on what you don't want firing on.
  10. Over cautious at first then panic in the final 15 minutes when I'm most of the map away from the objectives, leading to mounted APCs being rushed forward with no covering fire and all my arty falling around the men as they dismount into withering, unsuppressed enemy fire and friendly airbursts before they turn into crosses or exclamation marks around the burning, exploding wrecks of their only way out of there as the heavy armour that could have done them some good is either mercilessly pounding the target I gave them 20 minutes ago or is leading the charge and looking like a electromagnet in a scrapheap as they are ablated down to the chassis. Promotion is on the cards I feel.
  11. OK, this one works. Just tried it. I've put "target smoke" as "#" as I think it looks like a little cloud of smoke. See? Yes? OK, just me. As ever, hack it about until you're happy with it. BTW, I've swapped to Move (N)ormal and (M)ark mines. No idea what I was thinking originally.
  12. A Challenger was hit in the open commanders hatch by another Challenger. AFAIK that's the only combat fatality. Standing by to be proved wrong.
  13. It's close, but in my tests the M1A2s shade it due to higher ROF. But it's as close as makes no odds really.
  14. This is about The Kingdom of Fife. Not so much lost as put down somewhere and forgotten about.
  15. If anyone has a version from this that's working, email it to me and I'll put it up when I have a mo. Working 15 hour days until next week. Yak.
  16. As soon as you spot a sound loop it's impossible to ignore.
  17. Sure? Have you downloaded it again? I uploaded my version and I've been using it with the Brits.
  18. Sounds like it's working but I'm surprised about throwing grenades.
  19. The last time someone said that to me, I got a daughter TBH I think it's always been this way. I'm surprised grenades are thrown and even more surprised there's no suppression. Are you sure this is the case? If so, I'll raise a bug.
  20. You've been lucky. Small arms won't affect one side but HE does. Moral of the story - support infantry "target light" any buildings you're entering. "Target" means HE which will supress or kill your own guys.
  21. Ah - no, no way to do it - although I can see the utility. But then, there must be a hundred specific commands you could introduce.
  22. I think spotting is already tied to cover arcs in this way.
