    If not done already the aquiring mortar in carrier issue (the one that was solved through changing the mortar to the airborne type) requires reopening also. That was also fixed in one area but not another. Was fixed for the mortars that are in the Carrier Platoons vehicles but not fixed for the mortars that are in the Anti-Tank Platoons vehicles.

    Do not have any specifics on numbers but safe to say the answer is quite alot. And should add that with the target command they do not of course realise your trying to demolish the bridge and so also waste a fair bit of rounds from thier Besa machine guns. Not an cheap solution either.
    Also do not think I've tried on anything so big as in the screenshots posted above either, more this sort of size;

    I sense a test coming on when I am on my time off work this month. Would be good to know specific numbers for various bridges. As then could have forces fighting the delaying action on the far side while the Sappers are pounding the bridge to near destruction. Pause the pounding in order to bring the forces back to the home side, and then have the Sappers deliver the last coup de grace rounds. Rather than the delaying forces being on the home side trying to hold the enemy back and protect the AVRE (hence the overwatching Cromwell in screenshot above).

    I was going to state about that any unit or vehicle is always more expensive when purchased "singularly" compared to when its included as part of the "formation" anyway.
    The Lloyd (60 pts, standard) can tow guns. The Bren/Universal (71 pts, standard) cannot tow guns. I dare say that's the answer. The reason to choose the Lloyd over the Bren/Universal is because you want to drag some guns about. So role wise your sort of comparing apples and oranges here. Now compare the Lloyd against the other vehicles that can tow guns such as the Jeep (48 pts, standard), Morris (42 pts, standard) and M5/M9 (73 pts, uncommon or limited). Does not seem so expensive in that context now does it?
    Disclaimer: values taken as examples from the "single vehicles" on the quick battles force selection screen, your values may differ.

    Good news. Able to give any clues on any other issues that this might resolve. Just resolving issues brought about due to the patch? Or are any prior issues that the patch missed or part resolved going to be included in this?

    Also mentioned another stealth one in that same post. It's not stated on the notes but in 4.0 when choosing British (dunno whether other nations also) airborne formations in the Quick Battle game mode they were missing their vehicles. So you ended up having to purchase vehicles separately (and hope you had enough seats in them). Less your guns/mortars are deprived of mobility. Less your troops are deprived of their ammunition supply. But that's no longer the case in 4.1 and each formation (even the Independent Parachute Company) exists with its own organic transport.

    Oh also here's another related one. There used to only be one unit available to choose from in 4.0 when looking for Single Vehicles under Airborne Infantry when as the British on Quick Battles (think that was the Multipurpose Vehicle Jeep Bren). The others were missing in Quick Battles but existed in Scenario Designer. But now the units you have available in Quick Battles match those available in the Scenario Designer.

    Edited to add: should mention this is for CMBN (not checked for the same issues and fixes in CMFI as yet).

    Before start should say this is not intended as a dig at you.
    We do not need your text in bold though as we do not have problems reading the messages. It's not light and hard to read on ours. So it's an issue specific for you and your computer. And nobody else is making their messages bold so that you can read ours, so, therefore, what's the point?
    Should you be using Windows then you can improve the appearance of text using ClearType;

    Also if using FireFox as your web browser then this should also help you. I found the default too fine compared to my old browser when I made the change and changing these settings helped me;

    Nope done about ten more turns now and no change.
    This bugs also the reason that you seem to sometimes see tentative icons positions warping about back and forth. Because when no units are selected the viewpoint that your presented with for each tentative icon is the viewpoint for whomever was last informed about those contacts (at least thats what I've been able to discover it's not documented as such). So as each of the many units on your map get informed through C2 your global view of the tentative icon jumps between these incorrect and correct positions.

    I am not a person then it seems. 😉
    Sorting out the issues with tentative icons, mortar acquiring issues, Bren fire rate issues, also yes some TO&E things (purchasing Vickers detachments giving you Headquarter detachments instead, whole formations missing in QB that exist in SD, formations missing their vehicles and so on). Then yeah sure after all that infantry under artillery fire behaviour would be good.

    You HEATHEN!!!
    In a scenario it is up to the scenario designer to setup and arrange things (within the ability of the editor) to play out as intended.  In a QB I guess it would be agreed upon what / how much to purchase and then followed up with house rules during a QB PBEM.
    It can be an interesting task during a scenario to have supply trucks that need to reach a black on ammo platoon or something like that.  Or have crates of ammo show up as reinforcements on a drop zone or HLZ.  I think the system generally works pretty good.  Between scenario design, pre-battle agreements for (PBEMs) and house rules the details can be worked out.
    I would like to see more noticeable consequences for overloading troops and the ability to return ammo.  Also more flexibility with the Acquire command.  So the first team to Acquire  has a choice to take 100 rounds, if the player wants, instead of being forced to take a large number like a 1000 rounds.

    Hopefully we will see the inclusion of the Buffalo amphibious vehicle in the Commonwealth Bundle for CMFB since they were in integral part of the Battle of the Scheldt. If they make an appearance, it may be possible we would see the Schwimmwagen,for @kohlenklau, make its way into CMRT. All we need then is for someone with sweet modding skills to make one look like an assault boat.

    Oliver_88 got a reaction from Mord in Fradulent Credit Card Transactions
    I stopped reading at around page 5. I’ve not checked any statements as yet so not adding myself to the list. But figured would mention a little tale thats semi-relevant to the discussion;
    Guess what the last time my bank blocked my card to prevent a fraudulent transaction was? It was back in 2017 and the transaction they blocked was me purchasing my first Combat Mission game through the store. 😆
    Went to the bank and was put onto a phone to sort it out and the reason that was blocked as suspicious was due to the amount (was the CMBN Big Bundle) and something about the payment going to somewhere in the US rather than here in UK. I also remember him remarking “huh I’ve heard of battlefield but never heard of battlefront before” when I said what the purchase was. 😁
    I got home and then attempted the purchase again, the paypal route instead though. The rest as they say is history.
