Sivodsi
Except for one thing: he is not a monkey. Everybody knows that monkey's generally have tales while apes do not and are usually bigger. There are exceptions, like Barbary monkeys (tailess), and some gibbons, considered lesser apes, are smaller than monkeys such as the Mandrill. A tailess monkey - not an ape A lessor gibbon - smaller than some monkeys . A Mandrill - bigger than some apes, but still a monkey. I thought you guys would have picked up on this by now.

Sivodsi
We really need to rename this 'the refresh primate thread', then we could stop feeling guilty about OT posts displaying apes.
Zatoichi
Nah, just release the module already - the thread will soon slip away of its own accord, taking all the inappropriately classified mammals with it. Everyone's a winner!

I thought the breakdown of primates went like this: Lemurs, monkeys, baboons, apes (including humans).

Sivodsi
Are baboons like the Mandrills really monkeys? I thought the breakdown of primates went like this: Lemurs, monkeys, baboons, apes (including humans). But, you see, Mandrills are not baboons, that's where you are going wrong. In fact, these spectacular primates have a genus all of their own. (thanks wikipedia!)
Melnibone
On this day in 1935 the world's first parking meter was installed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I predict that in celebration of this the Brit module will be released later today.
Sivodsi
On this day in 1935 the world's first parking meter was installed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I predict that in celebration of this the Brit module will be released later today. I predict that the refresh primates will have to keep refreshing until Friday. Otherwise the impact of several million AWOL employees around the world could have an unforeseen impact on an already enfeebled economy. Save the economy! Release it on Friday!
