System requirements haven't been posted yet.

While I'm sure you will need a fairly up-to date system to play the game at high visual quality one should also keep in mind that it's highly unlikely that BFC will release a game that the majority of the potential customers can't play on a midrange system.

Il2 runs pretty dang well on my girlfriend's laptop- but ToW looks intensive. I keep feeling like I'm a) way behind the graphics tech curve and B) isolated in a little Macintosh niche were the best games are totaly unaviable. I do pretty much all my gaming on said laptop, to the gross infuration of said girlfriend.

Currently, I play the Prey demo on my Athlon 2.4+/512 MB/Ti4200 system without major difficulties, plus it looks good enough for me!

Obviously, I am not too fanatic about photorealistic graphics! ;)

I am afraid, though, that the LOS and AI calculations of ToW will bring my good, old system to its knees.

Best regards,

Thomm

1.3ghz Athlon or Pentium?

That sounds pretty damn good actually! That is a very low-end system these days.

Having the game run on old computers means many more people will buy it!

My System:

AMD Athlon XP 3200+ (2.2GHZ Clock Speed - Probably equivalent to a P4 2.5GHZ processor)

NVIDIA 6800GT Video Card - 256MB Memory

1.5GB Kingston HyperX RAM

Creative Labs SoundBlaster Gamer 5.1 Sound Card

ABIT Motherboard 400MHZ FSB - Socket A

Whaddaya think? Am I gonna need to upgrade to play this game with all the bells and whistles turned on?

Any feedback would be welcome.

You'll be able to play in software mode at 640x480 in 16bit color. Expect about 8 frames per second.

Many thanks for the quick reply Megakill. I wish you and 1C/BFC an excellent launch with ToW. Will soon use my (new) Virgin Money Credit Card soon - from the slush fund not known by the missus. :D

Considering your penchant for wine and the fact you actually make it...shouldn't that read "lush fund?"

Mord.
