  1. Last visted 11 hours ago according to his profile, about the same time you asked .
  2. Excellent work! You guys remind me that I need to get my face down in the dirt more often, for more reasons than just admiring the handsome faces .
  3. So what's at the top of the hill on that road? No wait, it's Google maps so I can have a look. Ha .
  4. After my opponent @Ultradave's T34/85s began shredding some of my poor German infantry with canister last night in @benpark's great scenario Rumble at Reitwein, I'm just wondering whether anyone can clarify the historical used of canister rounds in the T34/85? I was recently discussing canister for T34/76s with @kohlenklau and found this old thread, which has info on the 76mm round, but it seemed the jury was out on whether there was an 85mm version: I've searched elsewhere but not come to a conclusion, so any help or knowledge is appreciated.
  5. Well, Steve @Battlefront.com is with us in this thread (which is great), so I'm sure he can confirm or deny that. I imagine it's a bit too much of a skyscraper to build for the likely return. Whereas Kursk would be just a couple of little skyscrapers for a much greater return. No really, it would .
  6. I do, and mine comes up like this: EDIT: My screen seems to look a bit prettier than those above, perhaps part of the excellent @Ithikial_AU / JuJu UI mod?
  7. It sure can, I can recall H2Hs where we've both pressed CF and we're still going for several more turns, including command phases. Is there an explanation for this? All I can think of is the temptation (as mentioned above) to press CF again, which if you're not careful could cancel the CF.
  8. Errm, for me it's still there, right beneath the list you show? EDIT: I'm running the BFC version, in case that matters.
  9. Ahh, now this thread I like - two of my favourite CM people sharing the love .
  10. I mostly play PBEM these days so I can't confirm, but in PEBM it can take a few turns. I can confirm that surrender appears to be immediate in H2H. And it wasn't me, just my kind opponent .
  11. We can only hope. I would pay now for it, even a couple of years in advance.
  12. Hang on, reading a few posts I'd missed, Steve agrees with me (partly). Kursk here we come .
  13. Kursk is only a short while before RT base timescale, so not so many new (or should I say old) vehicles to produce? Perhaps mainly earlier models of existing vehicles? Steve has however said (I think) that the likely payback would not be enough to justify the risk. Or did I just hear that in a bad dream? Edit: he probably said that about Early East Front...
  14. While in a lot of ways I quite like this, I was also hoping: BFC customer base + Slitherine + Steam + maybe some of those military contracts = more staff at BFC
  15. That would be great , hope you find the time. I can play-test if it helps, H2H or single.
  16. I thought I'd add that there are some great battles (not just Ardennes) and of course maps, and campaigns in CMFB. For me, I've spent more time in CMFB than CMFI, but that's likely just a matter of who wants to play what. On the flip side I've spent more time by far in CMRT and CMBN, but I don't regret any purchases. Money well spent.
  17. Just check where you have your CMBN folder and make sure the patch is putting its stuff into the same place. The patch installer asks you about this when you run it. Or you could run the full installer not the patch installer... Correct me if I'm misunderstanding...
  18. You have to get these into France 1940 Phil. Now that won't be easy...
  19. If other experiences earlier in the thread are anything to go by, it could be that the patch installed itself somewhere that isn't your particular CMBN location. It asks for confirmation of the location but it's easy to just click yes and keep going. If you do use the full installer, you should avoid this issue as everything will go in the same place.
  20. Only when you have your 'big 2TB dropbox' in there.
  21. Yes, I would say so. But your post is also very helpful.
  22. Hope I'm not repeating anything, but I like this Latvian MP, says it how it is: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-64748349
