  1. You forgot Royal Dalton Bone China with a selection of the finest teas. I like an earlier version of the Cold War when they still had the Centurion Tank. Say the Prague Spring was the trigger.
  2. Sometimes defense is the best form of attack. It is what I like about this game. If you play the AI, discover the 'Trigger' somewhere on the terrain. Then you have an opportunity to set up an ambush. Warning: suddenly, you get plenty of sound contacts. It is a sign you set off a trigger.
  3. How do you like that game? This is what BF needs; we could make up campaigns on the fly. Strategies combined with tactics.
  4. You forget about the Dutch near Lunenburg, forget it the Soviets wouldn't dare to attack them.
  5. I spent ⅓ of my time on recon. It doesn't matter which game I play. Infantry can spot enemy armor at around 1km find their armor first.
  6. Could be your drive. I had the same before my old PC packed up.
  7. I always change the name so far no problem. Translate my name so I know which side I am playing. It could be Microsoft, the game also backs up automatically in the cloud. If this was not enabled, my PC possibly wouldn't let it save without a back-up. If it was BF everybody could have the same problem. Just my opinion Kind regards
  8. I didn't talk about ammo selection in this instance. Morale influences the willingness to act. I think it is misleading to let people ignorant of the importance of morale in this game. Nervous means exactly the inability to hit a target, as a sporting shooter I have some experience with it. If this is the case in CM2 they have it spot on, I don't let units on morale which on nervous to act as if their morale is ok. But if it makes you happy, I will stop sharing my experiences on this forum. I will leave it up to you testers to share your expertise. Kind regards it is not my intention to share misleading information even though I can share it with my screenshots.
  9. Australian army in PNG. Found cooking pots with the remains of their mates. The Japanese had resorted to cannibalism. Guess how many POW's they made? The info is at the War Memorial and museum in Canberra.
  10. Flares should play a role in the C2 and maybe bugles the NVA used them a lot.
  11. I agree if you focus on the unit in Camera position1 you should see exactly what is going on. A while ago somebody had that problem with a panzerschreck. The unit just wouldn't use it.
  12. I think that you use a mod, I never come across this in the standard game. if you used a mod I think that the problem could be there. I have no experience with mods/ Kind regards.
  13. According to BF you don't own it. They sell you the license keys to use it. What you do on your PC is your business but you can't sell your altered files or your games. I understand that is their concern
  14. Click the weapons on the interface and the TacAI highlights the position of the trooper.
  15. So do the tank riders, you must employ the scouts as runners. Setting up an effective C2 on the attack on Seelow heights is a challenge. It is not a motorized US platoon in BN with two radios on top of the ones in the halftracks. Lend and Lease scout cars are worth their weight in cold in FR. M4 Shermans can call in artillery and air support in FR the Soviets can just watch their Shturmoviks and hope for the best. It is more of a warning not to get close when you see them attacking.
  16. You may as well as long as you have the key to install it. Takes me something like 5minutes. Kind regards.
  17. One explanation the estate was shelled by 122mm artillery. An IS2 fired the place into a rubble, before my platoon did their assault. Nothing to show for it, I had 2 wounded scouts.
  18. Too late now to make a screenshot. When I downloaded the basegame all the Fire and Rubble games were dimmed. By purchasing the activation key Fire and Rubble was included. I just started Seelow Heights, the Soviets lack radios compared with just about anybody else. Their FO is the only guy who can call in heavy artillery. So you start with a set piece attack. Kind regards
  19. The base game has already the Fire and Rubble files. You need to purchase only the activation keys. Depending on bandwidth you better off doing a fresh download for the latest version. In the version I have now I had to use two activation keys. First time they used this method?
  20. Not the enemy, there was no way they could get out of their position.
  21. In the game I took fire 2 men were wounded. Did all the right things, when I seized the building, the fire came from didn't find any of the enemy. How long does the game display fallen enemy? It is helpful to get intel.
  22. I was wrong about the thermal sights. The Germans were already experimenting with infrared. The guy next to him has an AT-Rifle. CM doesn't let him borrow it; our eagle-eyed friend could put a slug right down the barrel of the Panther. Would get him a Hero of the Soviet Union Medal. Only kidding happy gaming.
  23. The Soviet infantryman is green. Conditions 'thick haze' and it is very cold. He spots a Panther which is hull down at one kilometer. This kid got a bright future, thermal sights have not been invented yet. If it is against us, we think it maybe a bug. Another theory of mine bites, the dust usually I let veteran or better do the spotting. He spots better than a Crack Unit in SF2 with state-of-the-art equipment. I talk about an TacAir FO in 'Edge of Darkness'. Oh, he did it without binoculars.
  24. The Churchill should be on the bottom. I based my opinion on the fact I was a very good Airfix modeler. All those little wheels took the fun out of modeling tanks. Fortunately, the T 34 was a brilliant design.
