If you really took the year 1991 as a baseline to measure the T-62s performance, then it's no wonder they underperform since they were built for the 1960s.
You measured it to the M1A1 Abrams which were manufactured from 1985. T-62s were manufactured from 1961...

"Hijacked"? I merely discussing the content of the above-mentioned video.
What happened is Soviets were crushed due to the lack of spotting abilities.
The video itself is the evidence that you so crave to see, but you won't because you are as blind as t-62.
I really don't have any naive illusions that you will change anything, because all the failures of the game are by design. But that won't spare you of well deserved criticism. Enjoy.

Well, it boils down to fact that in CM universe it is so. What Battlefront actually says is Soviet\Russian equipment is bad.
Hilariously enough, at the same time they try to make an impression of some competition and challenge between fraction in CMCW (and in CMBS).
My main claim is that Soviet equipment is represented in the game in a way that immediatly raises question, because units don't see something that they must see.

I didn't watch the video because I can't stand Rice for more than 3 minutes, but I suspect the issue is that BFCs pro-US bias meant that the Soviets did not perform as they historically would, along with the lack of nukes and chemical warfare in-game.

And maybe if he sent those 3 companies on the left flank they would be mercilessly slaughtered by invisible enemy? We are engaging in pure speculation at this point.
What are the facts? The facts are Reds were demolished, scattered to pieces and blown away by enemy, who they didn't see.
What should we discuss? We should discuss this spectacular failure and draw the conclusion that Reds are blind.
What they are discussing? "How Soviet dictrine works".
It would be easy to put all the blame on clumsy mr. Hapless and his "wrong' decisions and save the face of the broken system. But would it be fair? I believe that his major mistake was to select Red team instead of Blue.
What amuses me is that this thread and post-game discussion are framed in deductive reasoning, which is basically pre-Enlightment method of thought. Discussion goes from concept (Soviet doctrine works in CM normally) to facts (the fact that Halpless failed is him to blame).
Where as post-Enlightment method is inductive, e.g. to construct concepts based on facts (the fact that Halpless's units couldn't see anything means that something is wrong).

The thing that M60s sometimes don't see something doesn't change the fact that on average all Soviet tanks are much, much worse in spotting than their American opponents, and it makes them really uncompetitive.
Your "Deathride to Schweben" video clearly illustrates it.
Basically it shows just that: in present state Soviets in CM are doomed to fail. If you read comments section on Youtube, you'll see that they don't hesitate to speak out this obvious truth.

Since 2020 sniper rifle UAR-10 (based on Zbroyar Z-10) in 7.62x51 almost completely substituted SVD rifles, which almost exhausted own barrels resourse for years of war. But even before 2020, rifles Z-10 and some other in .308 caliber already were on armament of different sniper units.

They aren't "blind" per se, but compared to the Americans I think they are definitely at a disadvantage with their optics.  😎

Bufo reacted to Haiduk in FORECAST SERIES: Putin’s Likely Course of Action in Ukraine
Looks like after UK threaten to confiscate all real estate of Russian oligarchs, and US threaten with "killing sanctions", Putin will slow down. He expected "weak democracy" West would be afraid of his "thug style" ultimatums "NATO, take your s...t, get out to the line of 1997. Ukraine is our". Before this he saw only concernings, deep concernings, useless resolutions etc. So he was sure the West will withdaw again in front of his brutal force threat and concess him if not NATO withdrawal from Easterm Europe, but at least Ukraine only. Thanks to UK and USA (though, they have not so tough position like Brits) we have more chances to avoid a war in nearest time. And one reason, which can really turn away Russia from the invasion is not 2000 NLAWs and Javelins, but a threat to Russian elite $billions and property in western countries. But on the other hand this is heavy blow to the image of Putin inside Russia.
The cost of neo-empire ambitions - 10 billions $ for troops moving (and the same sum to move them back), full fiasco with own demands, threat of sanctions, threat to elites fortune, strengthening of UKR army, confirming of NATO perspective of Ukraine and probably new military axis UK-Poland-Ukraine, which can be signed tomorrow in Kyiv. Good job, Putin! What we can expect? Main reason of conflict will exist further - and this is our existance like pro-western democracy state outside of Russian influence. State-formig conception for plebs of "Holy Russian world of trinity Russian nation, withstanding with thinful West" is dead without Ukraine. And because of this the war is a question of time.

    I know what will happen:
Finally they will change how artillery damage works.
All subsystems of T-72 and T-90 will be blown away by near hit. If there is a direct hit on Abrams some of secondary subsystems will turn little yellow.
That will be presented as substantial progress, realism and listening to community.
    I will quote this post.

IMO these are unnecessary complicated steps that are not needed.
Just make the tank go slow beside the infantry and they will keep formation as simple as that, no magic needed.

Remember that the top armor is the weakest on all MBTs.
    Some related simulations:
    155mm M107 vs Leopard 1 hull top (30mm)

    152.4mm F-534 HE vs RU251 armor (20mm thick)

This has also been an issue for years with the M1 taking tons of direct hits from big ordinance. There IS an issue with artillery. There is no need to have a pretentious snob here telling us what's up. Precision munition doesn't kill tanks. That is a big problem.

Do yourself a MASSIVE favour, set it to Iron, now.....Then leave it there (at least until you have a real need to change it to Scenario Author Test).
Doing this will have no significant impact on the actual perceived difficulty (other than artillery and buddy-aid taking a little longer), but it will help you to learn how CM works a lot faster.....I strongly recommend you read this thread (several times) and experiment with the concepts it explains:
PS - Apologies for confusing you earlier.....I assumed you were more familiar with the games and were enquiring about the mechanics of pre-battle contacts/intel settings.

Probably this is perspective plans how to supply Ukraine with lethal weapon evading Germany blocking in NATO Supply and Support Agency.
Today three RAF C-17 delivered to Ukraine "modern short-range anti-tank weapon". There is no information what it can be, but many experts claim this is Saab NLAW. UK made a statemet about own plans on 17th Jan and on next day weapon arrived. On own way British C-17s flew around Germany airspace. Maybe situation demands fast decision and Germany could consider UK request too long time, due to their position.
