I ran the demo (the one for windows) on Linux with Proton.

The good news is Steam has an in-built compatibility layer (Proton). I already tested one CM demo and it worked perfectly. So most probably CMSF2 will run fine under Linux and Mac without the need to introduce system specific code.

How I hate when they make a video of pictures. It would be so much better to have access to the album instead.

As a last resort you could make a picture with your phone/camera.

I never watch promo videos, only gameplay ones as the former are pretty useless in my opinion, they don't tell anything about the game.

You can use Dropbox for it with a symlink. But the symlink has to be "Saved Games" folder in the CMBS directory pointing to a directory in your Dopbox folder since Dropbox stopped supprting them the normal way.

Hi, I also use a QHD monitor, but although the size of the panel at the bottom is not so huge, I have no problems reading the text. Maybe you have graphical problems like on this picture below that makes the text garbled? This happens when you use an intel GPU.

Problem is that is another issue. In the example that started this topic there is something blocking the line of sight to the target that is invisible. Imagine the gorilla video like the gorilla would actually jump in front of the ball. It would be impossible to not notice the gorilla that time.
