    Several test results for redfor vehicle smokes 
     
    1. BMP-2 and BMP-2K's black smoke is NOT IR blocking. 
    I tested with AT-6 Shturm-S vs Abrams in hotseat mode. Shturm failed to see the Abrams in the open behind the black smoke, but Abrams clearly can see the Shturm through the black smoke. It seems Shturm use visible light spectrum, while Abrams can see in thermal, so that black smoke helped Abrams to kill redfor units lol. 
    One good thing of black smoke is that, it generates smoke more longer than white ones. The smoke grenade for black smoke discharges the gas more than 1~1.5 min, can provide the screen around 1.5 min even in heavy wind. 
     
     
    2. BMP-3M ERA have NO smoke at all. 
    I didn't knew this, but BMP-3M ERA doesn't have any smoke launchers. Smoke button is deactivated from the beginning. I will not use this unit anymore from this moment. (Maybe against UA army?) 
     
     
    3. BMP-3M Shtora and T-90A can launch smoke only twice. 
    Actually, BMP-3M Shtora have more smoke launchers on the turret than other BMP-3 variants. It launches 6 smoke at once, so field more wider smoke. That is all. Total possible number of smoke discharge is 2, as same as other redfor vehicles. There are no 3+ smoke discharging redfor vehicles in this game. Is this true for real world Rus vehicles?  
     
     
    4. Shturm-S automatically changes the position after launch. 
    This was surprising, I didn't expect the Shturm-S can shoot & scoot automatically. However, I think it would be anyway useless against Abrams or Bradley's optics. In addition, this kind of unwanted movement would expose its position, or easily give up good hull down position, and I don't know how to stop automated shoot and scoot. So, I think I won't use this unit.

    I also really hope dedicated multiplay server for Realtime and 1min multi players. If there is a buddy-friend, chatting, and memo system, that would be awesome. 
    More multi player = more fans of CM series = increase of sales. Also I feel like the single player contents of CMBS are not enough, so hope the multi player contents compensate it. Dedicated server will greatly help this.

    During one of the recent PBEM match, I already lost 3 of Abrams. It is not 'lost', but actually, they are bogged down and immobilized. They all bogged down far away from main battle field, so it is fair to say that I lost 3 tanks. One of them had no single chance to take a shot, not a single 7.62mm bullet. 2 other shoot several times, but they couldn't escape from the muds. And 4th tank is now bogged, and now I'm praying for him (I don't have religion but I'm really praying now) that please escape from there in next turn.
     
    I'm really frustrated. Totally, out of my expectation, and all my plans are ruined. Imagine you lost 4 of your tank without battle, and imagine how it feels.
     
    In Close Combat series or Wargame series, players can get a information about the terrain. Is there similar thing in the CMBS? How can I know which tile is full of mud or something like that? Or, should I need to find out the mud by graphic?

    Oneshot twokill by T-90AM during game against AI. It was lucky shot, right at the moment when 2 Abrams were placed in opposite direction.

    CC:GC (Close Combat: Gateway to Caen) was under sale recently, costed only 10$ for a week in the humblebundle. It is over now. (I never mean like 'CMBS should follow' or something like that) I really wish a discount event of CMBS or summer sale or anything like that, but that policy purely depends on BFC's thinking, and I respect their decision.
     
    Some of my friends are really really waiting for sales of CMBS. They are serious RTS fans but they are all college students or graduate students, and 55$ is not a cheap price for us. I really want to play this fantastic game with those dudes, but for now, they are just watching my play. Sad

    If this post is more proper in tech section, then please move my post to there.
     
    1) Record 
    I had hard time to find a proper software to record DirectX/OpenGL game. All other programs, like OBS or Shadowplay, had problem with this. It was impossible to record properly CMBS. ( In OBS, you can use the window mode to record, but quality decreases) 
     
    Finally, I found "loilo game recorder" It is free, it is not a heavy program, and it works nicely with CMBS. For me, degree of FPS decreasing during recording was not severe, just small numbers. This is my current record program. 
     
    One drawback is, to record cursor, you need to use window mode. I didn't tried but I guess loilo will make some quality decrease in window mode, like other softwares do. So, I'm not recording the cursor in my video. 
     
    2) Encoding
    I'm using lightworks free version. There are some limitations in free version, but only for encoding to upload in youtube, free version works enough. (though the free version's maximum youtube quality is 720p). There are lots of great videos in youtube if you search "lightworks tutorial".     I shared this information, because I want to watch more CMBS videos. With these programs, recording and encoding are not a terribly difficult task. (though it costs some time).
     
    AAR with pics and explanations is also excellent way of sharing CMBS experience, but I think good one video would be better way. Cool, fancy CMBS walkthrough/battle video with epic music (like Hans Zimmer music or russian army choir musics XD) will be awesome, and that could be the great way to share/advertise this game, and bring more new CMBS players.

    Thanks to let me know. 
     
    The option you explained is the same thing what I use now in 1-min turn to disembark. But it is somehow limited to do in critical or subtle situations, and I feel real-time is more helpful for some complicated chains of actions. I really wish the BFC introduce some way to "move vehicle -> disembark boys -> move vehicle" possible in a single turn. (Or I just didn't find the way to do, though it is already there)

    And still, there are lots of Russian fanboyz who still claims "my t90 is not that week" or "t90 should destroy m1a2 equally".

    All those games sacrificed a lot for multiplay balance. Usual gamers (specially wargame rd and battlefield) never know that, and blame m1a2 supporters as victim of murican propaganda. Im really tired of those fanboys.

    Somehow I get the information about new patch from 'deep throat' of BFC. This is quite shocking news. Let me briefly introduce the new patch plans. This will entirely change the CMBS 
     
    1) Armata and m1a2 ecp1 will be added with its most accurate estimation. T-34/85 and M60 will be added as a reserve tank battalion. 
    2) New feature regarding bridge destruction and airplane modelling inside the game. 
    3) Now Paladin and Msta can shell the dpicm shell, and mine shells. Heavy rocket launchers will be added, but would be possible only one salvo per a game.  
    4) Even tactical nuke from air / arty is planned to update.

    Yeah, I checked that they are there. But I think it is not working for me....  Are the screams and chats randomly happens? Should I place camera really close to hear them? All others looks ok, only infantry voice and scream seems not hearable. I better remove z folder and reinstall all mods.... I can't find any reason.

    Yeah, but I can't hear at all during 2~3 missions, screams as well as chats, which is I think obviously something is strange. I will remove all z folders and install mods one by one to check. Very small autocannon scenario or Going to town scenario seems good to test.

    All sounds are perfect. I still dunno why it happened, but now I can hear all screams + chats without any problem. I solved problem after re-install all mods in the z folder one by one.
