  1. Ok. So., how can we ROCK ? Shall we utilise what we have in CMSF and make a LOVELY mouth-watering Ramadi map based Op. Or shall we dig CMBS and its available resources ? OR the more reasons why @battlefront.com can give us a Happy Chinese New Year present by updating the engine 4.0 yesterday no harm in suggesting - is there ?
  2. I hope we don't have to bribe our way into Syria or Astan using camel caravans by smugglers lets see how this fares... who will be the first to mod a pic of the THE PUNISHER on a Humvee ?
  3. And wow ! A whooping 16 page community forum topic already in that link. Thanks man. I'll read through it. I was intrigued to see one suggesting a more realistic room clearing assault.. that's nice.
  4. Understood. That's clear, more reasons for CMSFII thanks Guys. Good week ahead !
  5. We seem to be getting a momentum here guys. Is it ripe time to start getting a list together - as in wish list - that we d like to see in CMSFII? what is also amazing - is the community who keeps this not only alive / but kicking ass
  6. Not sure if words or acronyms like ISAF can be embedded into CMBS too.. seems fitting with what I'm trying to convey above.
  7. Ok ! - so - I was generally referring mostly to operation enduring freedom when most US forces would battle Taliban and Al Q. However , in reports there was also the assumption that 'foreign fighters ' would join the ranks of Taliban and AQ, and have a distinct fighting style (see http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/secret-battles-us-forces-chechen-terrorists/story?id=22580688) the battles might probably take the form of Op Neptune Spear in CMSF since these US SOF vs insurgents (i use the word insurgents on purpose so as it fits loosely with fighters who support the taliban/AQ ) Logar Operation seems a genuine / interesting one. thanks @Combatintman for giving this a thought. I knew I'd get your interest. Couldn't resist a SOF could you ? me neither. I'm no gifted person with CMBS scenario Edit. You on the other hand (hats off)
  8. Very nice reasoning - true. would drones make their way into 2008 combat over Syria ?
  9. Hi @IanL - would a scenario between blue for vs chechens be possible ? In cmbs ?
  10. Full with you there @IanL just being a bit cheeky and wanting. I can't help myself “There are three kinds of people: Those who are immovable, those who are moveable, and those who move them.”– Li Hung Let's see which lion BFC is. >:)
  11. Hi ladies. I was thinking... just a thought.. since this campaign contains Chechen , and since a number of Chechen indeed do join along Al Q ranks... is it a remote possibility to have US vs Chechens, in CMBS, that possibly possibly might resemble the battles encountered in mountainous northern Afghanistan ? Just gently asking.
  12. What I only wish for is to have MORE doodads, and perhaps some more exciting structures for troops to get in. I always dreamt of for e.g., having a crash site with a chinook CH-47 or an SU-XX that can serve both as eye candy , and more imp as a defense structure that troops can 'enter' / 'exit' for hiding purposes. too much comics or wishful thinking ? Maybe.. but I'm a sucker for eye candy to mimic immersive gameplay. and if one is not enough, we can always have two downed helos I'm not saying about any scripted moving helos. Just a structured placed on map.
  13. DO u think the scope would remain strictly Syria invasion ? Or will the plot widen a bit ? Afghanistan and wadi areas would be a thrill to have. Plus mountainous terrains. Also.... would BFC keep this strictly under wraps and come out when close to ready, or will they start teasing in bits ? How does it work ?
  14. this just keeps on getting better and better. Its amazing how after all these years.. CMSF may get some love on its way... I simply can't imagine what it would be like hitting the desert, sand, and CQB in those small villages in a CMSFII environment. i also just REALISED, its my 400th post
  15. Sure sure... theme specific mods will always be specific. But HQS 2.6 is one fine example. Also / maybe all mods can be 'tagged'
  16. I have thought of this precisely !!! Whilst dl the HQS mod.. right now me too I have it installed / copied 4 times. So as not to stay copy pasting each time.... although I suspect it's difficult to have it done easy by BFC (@Battlefront.com) at this point in time (hope I'm wrong)... I see your point clearly.
  17. Hi ladies. Am playing 'Going to town' with Russians as attacking force - and finding it challenging - anyone has an XP to share about how to invade the town & win ? And oh - happy new year 2017
  18. Hey - I didn't knkw this. Can Germans make use of US captured ammo ? And vice versa ? Is this CMFB specific ? Thanks guys.
  19. HOOAH ! More modules to CMBS & CMSFII 4.0 please.
  20. <shy> sorry for mixing the BRD2 with BMP. Thanks for the clarity about my queries/encounter. west side boys ? Coool - saw a documentary once about this particular op. It's nice to see that you visit Africa sometimes for CM purposes. Though Afghan /Pakistan remains my fav. Can't wait to see CMSFII in its glory engine
  21. Thanks @MikeyD how realistic you think it is for BFC to have something cooking on modern front other than CMBS ? (Hint hint)
  22. I just stumbled on this - and I guess I wish to rope in @Combatintman @MOS:96B2P And @dragonwynn whom over time have proved and proved that CMSF scenarios are amazingly refreshing to play especially given the current Middle East situation. I also second the idea / proposal for existing scenarios / campaign not to be wasted for CMSFII
  23. Hi @Battlefront.com CMFB sound is A OK ! I just removed mods. Re installed. Mods back again. All is well ! Thanks Steve CMSFII pls im starting to haunt you now.. i better slow down a bit. Seriously, thanks a lot - you and your team for giving us awesomeness of products. And making XMAS 16 and NY 17 a nice one.
