Considering the 'hype' and to be honest, reality - what are now the chances of having 'Special Forces' embedded in new CMSFII. Besides the 2,000 (or more?) USMC deployed in Kuwait. There is a lot of talk of SF ops in the battle and WOT in the Middle East. I could really really really, do with some of these guys, in niche missions and scenarios. Maybe NOT full blow campaigns.. but I hope and wish that some will agree with me here. What the hell, the community went also far as creating Op Neptune Spear (which is a MUST HAVE, MUST PLAY btw), by @Combatintman (hats off), and labelled the Guys as Seal Team 6. Even in CMBS, there are a couple of scenarios with squads labeled as seals. They need not be seals, I also enjoy the 75th Ranger Regiment, Delta. etc. AM I saying something completely stupid here ? Thanks Guys. God damn, I wish @Battlefront.com can pop by and slot a few words in the CMSF forum

Hi all - I haven't exhausted all of CMSF scenarios (yet!) however just something I notice... in cmsf manual and fora , there is frequent talk of civilians that ought to be roaming around - some may be genuine others may be uncon that brandish a weapon after a while. are there many such scenarios / campaigns that have this ? I'm aware for example - consulate evacuation that one must meet and lead to safety 'civilians' who are unarmed. i think this is a nice forte of CMSF which is ABSENT IN all other series of the game. to me - this is an exciting aspect.

God damn., can u imagine a CMSF II with the current standards + probably a few more bells and whistles - because let's face it - BFC always releases new full scale games with more content that pleases the eye and satisfies the heart. do you think we can officially ask BFC on these fora for an update ? It is after all April'17. and pls , no aprils fool jokes allowed

One cannot but stop to marvel at the beauty of such maps. The recent topics on CMSF, led me to here.. and I've picked up the thread. @LongLeftFlank is there any testing, beta testing, help that we can do for your current, future game design ? Please do count me in. This ME environment is such a twist from mainland Europe. regards

Wow ! I never visited that site - I just googled it - and saw it. Funny - I never recalled an official confirmation of CMSFII on these fora let alone in 2017 ! Can we believe this ? It would be #awesomeness if correct. Can't wait to see the Middle East in its engine 4.0 glory beating dust and afghan mountains

@LongLeftFlank i would buy it ! I also flirted with the option one day to have uncons (like chechens) posing a threat to US/NATO in CMBS but with a twist similar to CMSF PLEASE @Battlefront.com CMSFII

Ok thanks man ! Last quick ques / the 82nd mod - does it put the AA emblem on their arm ? I have another emblem - just wanted to double check. I can't post a pic - but it's like sort of a circle and shape of a sun outline the ones I have.

Been to Helmand yesterday - in CMSF environment of course i noticed @dragonwynn that u stated use only the mods supplied with the campaign , and remove when finished . Is that correct ? If I leave this folder and play other scenarios... there will be mixups ? thanks man

Hello ladies ! I was a few weeks radio silence. I JUST changed and upgraded my machine. Still with a Mac. But this time,. with a beast and I can push higher all settings to maximum without worrying about performance. It seems CMSF goes up to only 1440 x 900 maximum ? I'm going to take this mission for a spin this week, and report back. Thank you all. Who knows which month of the year BFC will spill some more beans about the Middle East
