  1. Agreed, Trooper. What a glorious shot, Fuser. Nicely framed.
  2. @ Kanonier Reichmann: Unfortunately they forgot that the original story applied to small mortar ammo. rather than proper HE shells and blew themselves all to smithereens with their first attempt. Working title: "Brad Pitt Meets the Three Stooges".
  3. Too funny, verulam. Jorge, you have outdone yourself. And we forgive you. Hands up if you fell for the collapsable knife blade trick? It works every time. I'm not sure who's more stupid, the supposed victim, the audience or the film producers who thought we'd fall for that s*h*i*t. And I still can't figure out why the "mariner look" never caught on. I mean, horizontal stripes, flat cap with ribbon. That "fish outta water je ne sais quoi". Come on. That dude should be more worried about fighting off the femmes fatales than his on-field foes.
  4. Keep the pix and play-by-play coming, Johnsy. Part 8 up now...sorry if I stole your (Red) Thunder.
  5. The buffet is open. Just one question. What wine goes with CM? Edit: that is, as opposed to "whine".
  6. It all depends. Have you been naughty or nice?
  7. Great to see you've kick-started this thread, Kuderian. Keep the pix and the play-by-play coming!
  8. Mine is not to judge. Nobody's perfect. Various other self-effacing clichés come to mind. Bottom line: she did change, which should give us all hope. Besides, look how well her son turned out in spite of her. In other news: my parents have put me up for adoption.
  9. Hey, Oddball, could your mom use another son? I would be open to/for adoption. Of course, her current son might have other ideas...
  10. But did she like it? I know, I know...it's the thought that counts. I'm just saying, I wish I had a mother who took me to war movies. Now, that's love.
  11. Kudos, Macisle & umlaut, on the scenario & map. Love the title, too. Can't wait to see the AAR. How about it, Hister?
  12. Good stuff, Jorge. And now that you've saved us the price of admission, we can all invest it in BFC's latest offering. Talk about a win-win.
  13. $165? Damn, that sure could buy a lot of (bad) pizza.
  14. I wonder if there's a way to pass the "virtual hat" so that some of our less fortunate can share in the fun.
  15. As someone smarter than me said, "Brothers, why can't we all just get along? Do we not all enjoy eating pizza? Or would we rather just 'lick and look' "? Oh, to have one's (pizza)pie and eat it too.
  16. Brothers, why can't we all just get along? Do we not all enjoy eating pizza? Or would we rather just "lick and look"?
  17. Well said, Sailor. No stranger to the "flame wars" myself, I would gladly douse any criticism thrown your way. Ain't language a beautiful thing?
  18. Die young; leave a beautiful corpse. At least that was the plan.
  19. In Bristol, the only thing that outnumbers the cider houses is...dare I say?...the Cities.
  20. Really? In that order? The one thing I "takeaway" from my time in the UK is that the only true religion is not to be found in any church but rather the pub. I guess it's just a matter of priorities...Cheers!
  21. Burkey, you are priceless. Thanks for making my day.
