  1. What? You make demands? I punish! Mwahahahaha!
  2. So I know you guys are really not particularly interested in any of this stuff but I thought I might post some WIP Beta shots from the upcoming CMFI Rome to Victory module. You know, cause I have nothing else to do and no one will ever notice this stuff anyway but I need to put it somewhere...
  3. All right, so the next chapter in this story is some of the most incredible action I’ve seen happen in the game. There is no reasonable sequence of orders that could produce this; it’s the game at it very best: giving us action that is beyond tactics and orders and commands and probabilities, yet is, despite the odds, plausible. There is a reason we don’t see something like this often, and that is because something like this is what earns people DSC’s or Silver Stars. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed watching it in replay, even though it was the last thing I needed to happen for my success!
  4. Glad I could help. We were all new to this at one point, so don’t worry about asking questions.
  5. A way that I found helped me learn a lot was to play against other humans. Especially if ones opponent is interested in sharing what they know, and discussing battles afterward and mistakes and strategies. It really is instructive, and a lot of fun. You can’t go wrong by looking at @Bil Hardenberger‘s Blog and another site that has lots of little tips and ideas is Here
  6. Yep, that’s the film with Lulu Belle.
  7. Just wait... it gets... uglier better still! There's a ninth man still left alive! I'll forever associate it with a half-drunk Scotsman with a sten and salt-sweat stained fatigues.
  8. I guess they have the M48? I’ve not looked at Tamiya online but model kits definitely seem to be so much rarer than when I was a kid. The ones I see are for the most part so much simpler than what I had too. Toys more than models, often snap together. Mind you the other day I saw a model I made eons ago: USS Arizona. Still love that one.
  9. I made a 1/35 Tamiya model of that beastie! It’s really an odd creature. The Russians called them A Grave for Seven Brothers. You can see one running about in the 1943 Bogart movie, Sahara.
  10. Indeed! As @Bil Hardenberger‘s fantastic tactical Blog states:
  11. It’s been years since I heard that rhyme. First caught it watching Too Late The Hero as the patrol leaves base camp. Thank you for that memory.
  12. didn’t have any DAFs handy, and the Scania is Dutch plated.
  13. I think I saw this before but it's one of those things that's good to review once more, now and again. Thanks, John.
  14. A big Dutch Wagon!? Here’s a nice 2018 R450!
