Well, in retrospect US illegal invasion of Iraq set a chain of events that destabilised a country which was able to function only by tough hand ie. dictator and that girl had all the right to be angry on you guys - tools in the hand of the invasive government.

Personally I never blame an individual soldier and granted Iraq was in a FUBAR situation already, the US/Coalition invasion didn't do it no good and many people died because of the f*ckups on political and strategical level. War is hell.

Soundmod used is not a good one. Plus all the mods subdue vehicle sounds too much when there is fighting so I'm sticking with vanilla now.

Iron mode is very useful for determining C&C. I mostly play in it. Not as useful as it used to be before command lines were introduced.

Any timegrame andlocation chosen will always get people who are not interested in it and people who are. Not really a shocker there. Saying it was an unwise move from developers is obviously not based on any serious grounds worth scrutiny. If you personally don't like it and wont't buy it it doesn't mean other customers share your views. It was said from devs that that particular timeframe was chosen exactly becuse of what I already wrote. I'm sure there were other reasons too. Just the fact they are still here and producing new games is a testament they got it right so far.

Okay so I loaded a fresh copy  of RT and ran the 1.03 installer. I got the message that all installations were successful, but when I opened RT the first screen was still showing 1.00. In the documents folder there is a v103 ReadMe text, so I don't know what to think about all this.

About the Peng thread. Never had the patience to read it. Not many things there make much sense but maybe that is a point there? BTW, why is it called "Peng"?
