Let us think positively. It will be great. Give it time. They should set up the forum and let the ideas flow in. Maybe 1000 ideas and 5 could work. 5 they may not have thought of. Free ideas.

Like snow drift flavor objects. 3D objects that can tuck into the lower edge of a building to make snow look more intense and deep. Same thing around the base of trees and poles, etc.

Rocking Harry had some really great stuff. I sure hope they filter through this and jot down some that they should seriously consider. No harm if it goes in the round file, at least they took 5 seconds to read it.

Bit by bit I will get it there. I have the greatcoats coming along and now a leather jerkin from somebody's British Mod. Thank you somebody! I will try to find out who you are and make sure you are cool with me converting it. I had to slide the leather part up in the German BMP, it rides a little lower on British troops. They must like that plunging neck line look in London fashion I guess! This shot shows some I moved and some not yet moved. And a greatcoat guy in the background. Squad is a fusilier infantry set on "mixed camo" appearance.

mjkerner had a problem just a few weeks ago with JTS PzC Market-Garden '44 and e-mailed for assistance and John Tiller himself responded right away.
Steve from BFC has also handled a weekend issue I had. I'd say both companies are wargamers friends. Mark and I kinda wish they'd team together to make a cool CMPzC interlink.

Hey Bud, you should number them on the covers and a date? or at least a month/year.

Is "somebody's Hero" just a concept or an in production CAAR from our recent QB?

Great job Bud. I thank you and congratulate you on the completion of a very imaginative and creative project.
I recommend you tie a string around your finger and remember to only embark on doing this type CAAR with very small battles; intimate and focused...
Or maybe select a specific squad, team, vehicle, crew, etc. within a bigger formation and tell the story through their eyes with occasional references to the big picture being heard over the radio for example.

    From my perspective...
    1. On impulse I bought an engineer unit, not the best choice for this open field work.
    2. water-cooled .30 cal MMG got off on the wrong foot and only came into play towards the end.
    3. Flame thrower didn't kill anybody, burned a bunch of leaves and maybe roasted a squirrel.
    4. I had only 1 BAR. Not a single Thompson SMG! IIRC.
    5. All those demo charges for nothing. Thought to use one over at the farm but "Jessie Owens" got shot!
    6. I was robbing the dead of ammo as much as possible.
    7. Rifle grenades were great!

Up in the attic I have a box of old comics. 1960's and 70's. Some are war comics. I think I have some Marvel and mostly DC.
Marvel only had "Sgt Fury and His Howling Commandos" but DC had several series with "Sgt Rock", "Haunted Tank", "Unknown Soldier" and "The Losers".
Memories of riding my banana seat bicycle way over town to the new 7-11, (with no helmet!).Get a slurpee, some now or laters and a comic book.
    In my corduroys and windbreaker!

Thanks for doing this great project Bud. Looking forward to many more.

Take your time and make us all proud. Release it on Dec 16th, 2015. Bulge 71st Anniversary.
It will be the very best Bulge wargame ever made. You guys are gonna dig deep and bust outside the box like that Alien chestburster creature.
You're gonna come up with stuff to knock our socks off.

How about for scenario editor a new status for vehicles in the dropdown menu...."immobilized-no fuel"
Then a new objective type on the map in that dropdown....."Fuel supply" and then some of your vehicles get topped off, at least in a campaign....

    Break

Mark Ezra the wonderful guy that he is, just made a no promises offer to take a look at Los's Bulge map. How come BFC doesn't just do that as a matter of course? I mean it could result in some good inputs for QB's if you had some rules for submission into the "Ronco TransMapafication Machine 3000". File names already in Mark's new format. All the set up zones per standards for Attk, ME, etc. If they send it in the wrong format, you reject it right away. Forumites could huddle together to share tips on getting a QB accepted. Just another crazy idea I guess....

If BFC creates a CM Bulge forum today, BFC should be able to edit the name of the forum later when they decide on a name for the new family.

Come on BFC, please just get that forum up in place! It is needed...
    1. c3k needs the forum for his free game contest (c3K, okay..what is that format again for the date/time of the release and you send me a free copy of CM Bulge?)
    2. Bil Hardenberger needs it for his cool beta battle scenario AAR.

I think this is going to be an awesome game. Everybody is saying how great CMBS is, so I am thinking this game should benefit.

REQUEST: Please do not DO NOT DO NOT go with the "random milestone signs subroutine" <or whatever you call it> in the flavor objects. ~16 milestone signs, each looks pretty good, I can guess the names of the towns, we all probably can... But when you use them in the map editor, AFAIK, they just randomly pluck out of a box and will change each time you load the map. Trois Pont is suddenly Spa? This is what I see in CMBN MG. CMFI has it the old way. I am not sure about CMRT or CMBS. Make it the old CMFI way please?

REQUEST: I have always wanted a burnt-out building with just the chimney remaining behind. We can mod burnt out foundation area, juju had a nice one for his railyard mod. But that chimney with the bricks still standing is an icon of war. Very scorched earth iconic. You will want this over in CM Stalingrad! Please bust out those 3D mdr's and some simple textures, charge it to this CM Bulge work order! Some of the fellas out here will mod it better, just get us the skeleton files.

BFC could <I didn't say should!> come up with a "Diamond Club Customer" plan, with one payment of $1000.00 you get all future families, modules, patches, password to the beta sites, a dinner date with the BFC dude of your choice, and a gift pack of Combat Mission swag such as a coffee cup, hoodie, mouse pad...

    Hi Jaeger,

I recommend you swing on over to the CMBN forum and CMFI forum where we have had a few run throughs and you'll see the big picture in a jiffy.
This would be a new thing for CMRT so no threads in CMRT forum to explain it."yet!"

In a follow on scenario in this campaign, LT James T. Bull then disguises himself as a Soviet soldier and enters the engine compartment of the T-34 to obtain the cloaking device for his kampfgruppe!
