I think it's probably something like that, yes.
Putin isn't the evil mastermind, scheming Bond-villain figure he's made to be. He is a totally ruthless opportunist, but he doesn't have a master plan for the domination of Europe or something. He probably didn't even have a real plan for this war.
Now he's in over his head, and events are totally out of his control after he's united an entire continent against Russia. His advisors are probably trying to move him in a direction that will conclude the war in the near future, while his own propaganda machine in the media is spending every day screaming and agitating for world war 3 and total commitment.
That's not a situation where he'll get much sleep, if any.

I’m thinking onset of Parkinson. Gripping the table to hide tremors, which typically affect one hand in the first stages of the disease. 

One alternative on the political front is that Putin isn't actually in power anymore: that there's been a quiet coup behind the scenes. The new bosses have all the power, but they're keeping him in position to soak up the failure while they try to bring an end to hostilities.

Probably tremendously unlikely, but that video of him talking to Shoigu seems so off. Slouched, unhealthy Putin gripping onto the table for dear life, tapping his foot with his shoulders up by his ears. Shoigu in a suit and not his uniform. The tiny table and the uncomfortable proximity. Looks like the same room that Putin gave his hour long history lesson from just before the war started (the one with the Kremlin screensaver and the array of 70s phones)- but he's not behind the desk in a position of authority here, he's out in front face-to-face with Shoigu.

I mean, I've only seen a short cropped video but it definitely doesn't has the same vibe as the pre-war stuff.

We need to see more to be certain but the left side of his body was more interesting to watch, looked like he had no strength?
He certainly looks in trouble and reminds me of my father who had strokes.
The grip goes so maybe why he was filmed from that angle? 

Alas, this is not quite. Significant part of Ukrianian generation of "millenials" and younger are indeifferrent, apolitic and even cosmopolitan. Instagram images of сarefree bright life, life like entertainment or in best case,  trend struggle "save coalas" or something like this, IT or blogger career and "get away sometime from this country" - this typical ideas of many young people today in Ukraine. Despite of 8 years of war, many of them consider that Russian business, society and culture give more opportunities, more respectable etc. For example, many pupils and even more senior listen dirty Russian rap, propaganding violence, anti-social behavior and "criminal romantic". So, this part of young people, which you could see is some sort of responsible citizens of own country, passionaries. Fortunately we have them, but... all not such in bright colors... I hope, this war forced at least a part of rest to rethink their values.        

I'd say that's realistic. That APS ain't going to work anyway either due to sanctions or corruption or both. Let's just consider that it was replaced with a wooden brick.

There is a big shift towards unmanned aerial combat vehicles, a fancy name for unmanned fighters. The Loyal Wingman program is a precursor.  Removing the pilot from the airframe frees up a ton of weight...literally. Pilot, ejection seat,  life support gear, instruments: that's roughly a ton of weight. And, you're no longer limited to 9g (and that only for short times).
(And, one ton at 9gs means 18,000lbs of structure that does not have to be accounted for...or could be replaced with weapons, fuel, sensors, etc.)
The language is still catching up to the technology. Drone, quad, kamikaze, loitering munition, weapon truck, UCAV, etc...  
Optionally-manned equipment in combat is going to happen, both on the ground and in the air (as well as on/under the sea). 
These innovations will prove crucial when we battle Space Lobsters.    (Hey, you're still planning on making that, right?)

Please Sir, at least try to hide your racist attitude a bit more. It's not the first time you exhibit such behavior. This and some other examples like the 2 numb nuts that were interviewed by the BBC wearing SS Deaths head Patches and some BS about Odin or Thor + Azov and Aidar support the fairy tale tellers in the Kremlin.

Much as I really love bashing Russia, blaming them for most of the world's problems is a stretch.  Humans are good at f'n things up. We are incredibly short sighted.
The US has a long history (as do many countries) of supporting gov'ts that do things we like regardless of the consequences.  This is especially true when it comes to strategically important resources.  Saudi Arabia is our own version of Russia.  They export Wahabist teachings and oil. They murder their own civilians in their embassy, and we whine and complain and at the end of the day sell them weapons.

I'd think if there was a sane mind over in the Kremlin at all they'd be real scared to push the nuke button for fear they'd either just blow up in their silos or land in Russia.  Better to just threaten to use them.. kind of like they should have just used their army to threaten.

This might be the best source of information regarding the war on the internet.  It has become my go to reading.  I assure you the guys behind the game are still working.  Happy now...begone troll.

Finally some good news for the Russians. They lost an asset that Ukrainian farmers won't tow away.
They are getting better at this!

OMG that is perfect! At first I thought it was a joke, then I found a nice article on NPR.org. 
I think Pres. Zelensky needs to send Putin a nice letter, with some newly issued stamps for postage.

I think it was a Buratino. Regardless, I think that most soldiers understand that the weapons they get are not infinite in numbers and that they'd rather have a NLAW on them when a Russian tank is driving toward them than to use it to film a video for TikTok. Stugna-P video also shows that Ukraine seems to have dedicated ATGM crews that have the best equipment and that those soldiers are quite professional in choosing their target. 
 
Hopefully Moskva news is true. I'd love to see a big loss like that. If the strike happened it means that Ukraine is starting to feel confident about their defense of Odesa. My theory was that Ukraine held back the Neptunes (kept them hidden) in order to make amphibious landing incredibly risky. Could be the reason why Russia navy did not do their "thunder run to Kyiv" by landing in Odesa early in the war. Will be fascinating to hear more about this when info becomes available.

I can only speak for myself here but I registered on this forum because the way this war is covered in this topic is better than any other place I have seen on the internet or on mainstream media for that matter.
I have never played a CM game in my life but I will definitely be getting into the series in the future now that I see how passionate people in this community are about letting people understand the realities of warfare.
In the mean time I wish the Armed Forces of Ukraine all the luck in the world!
