  1. Simply put, this statement is false. You should read up on it in a book.
  2. I have never heard or read that "Bradley outperformed Abrams" before in GW1 and that Bradley killed more tanks than the M1. That's all, so I am curious where you obtained that info from?
  3. Well, I am ordering a set of puttees for my dirty sock collection.
  4. Cotton cloth wrapped around the foot, a primitive sock.
  5. According to Suvarov the Soviet were still wearing leg wrappings in this time period, but this has nothing to do with binocular distribution, I know.
  6. Yeah, and that snap Dragon shot from that guy who just dashed into a building out of area fire. I didn't realize the Dragon has no set up time?
  7. I have seen photos of stateside Bradley's and M1's in MERDC from the time period............I think. It means I have to dig through books and I hate that. More summer MERDC later. Pete
  8. It's like grounghog day! Collapse the launchers for the LAW, RPG-18 and Bradley TOW launchers!
  9. USMC version is likely what you saw on Google. Those were in DS1.
  10. These are pretty awesome times for us guys whove played Cm since the beginning and from day one dreamed about this exact topic, this exact time and this exact place!

  12. Quick check with one source says that they were equipping the 41st Inf, 2nd Armored in Ft. Hood in 1982.

Soviet: 100mm D-10T: BM-20 APFSDS-T 1976 100mm D-10T: BM-25 APFSDS-T 1978 115mm 2A20: BM-21 APFSDS-T 1975 115mm 2A20: BM-28 APFSDS-T 1978 125mm 2A46: BM-22 APFSDS-T 1976 125mm 2A46: BM-29 APFSDS-T 1982 125mm 2A46: BM-26 APFSDS-T 1983 US 105mm L7: M735 APFSDS-T 1978 105mm L7: M774 APFSDS-T 1980 105mm L7: M833 APFSDS-T 1983
  14. I had always assumed that the M1, M3 and M2 units arrived in the J-Series.
  15. Assuming there will be be H and J Series TO&E for the US?
  16. Thanks for the thread MikeyD. Maybe a line up of the M48A5, M60, M60A1 and M60A3 and M60A3TTS? Is there an ACAV version of the M113? Pete
  17. Anyone got good intel on when the Soviets began using DPICM? The time frame certainly allows for the first US DPICM (155mm M483A1 mid 70's) but I thought the Soviet variety did not come until after 1982. Pete
