  1. I appreciate all the feedback and am somewhat surprised by the lack of consensus on this issue. I thought I was just missing some basic command or process but appears it is far more nuanced. @jtsjc1, I've seen tank commanders fire their 50cals but only on tank models where the MG is located in front of, or on the side ofm the commanders hatch. I've run a few more tests using scenarios with in the game (don't have enough functioning brain cells left to try and tackle the editor...) and have not been able to get any rear-mounted pintle .50cal gun to fire. Would be great to hear from anyone that has a "reliable" way of getting these MGs to fire. Thanks, Mike
  2. I'm really enjoying the module for Final BlitzKrieg but have a question on whether the pintle mounted 50cal MGs on the Pershing and some late war Shermans are usable. I've run several tests trying to get the 50cals to fire. I've tried target light with tank unbuttoned, buttoned, and even a squad of tank riders. In all cases, no graphic of the 50 cal firing nor does the 50cal ammo count ever decrease. Are these unusable currently or am I just doing something wrong?

  4. Have been following this thread since day 1. I have found it a better, more distilled summary of current events than almost every other dedicated news site. My thanks to those in the middle of this nightmare for the continued updates and new information. One thing I have not seen recently is any updated estimate on total Russian losses. The last update from 3 - 4 days ago was ~1000 AFVs, 60 - 80 aircraft / Helicopters, and ~5,000 KIA. This was from the Ukrainian government so likely somewhat inflated but probably more accurate than the 500 KIA reported by Russia.
  5. I found this solved my problem. Before doing that, it could take 3 - 4 minutes from when I click on the shortcut to when the BF splash screen would come up. After excluding the CM directory from AV scan, the game launches in less than 20 seconds.
  6. Redwolf, Kevin: Thanks for the quick check and confirmation that my wife is right and I am losing my hearing (must be subjective hearing though )... Will try a reinstall just to see if it makes a difference.
  7. I have noticed a strange sound volume issue. Playing any other CMx2 title, I typically have my laptop volume set to 14 - 16 but when playing Cold War I need to set the volume to 22 - 26. This applies to both sound effects and background music. Has anyone else noticed a similar issue or could I just have a bad install? Everything else seems to play and display correctly so don't believe I have a corrupted install but not sure how else to explain it.
  8. Hi Benpark, Would it be possible for you to post the modified campaign files to the Scenario Depot or even a dropbox link? I, for one, desperately could use more time in the scenarios. I seem to be very, very, efficient at finding the shortest path to total defeat and my Pixeltruppen are threatening to "frag" someone...
  9. That's too bad. Nothing says "I'm thinking of you" like 380mm of high explosive material. I had posted a similar question below as I was looking forward to using it in the streets of Berlin as well.
  10. I did not have Umlaut's Factory mod installed but after about 30 minutes of trial and error found the "non-textured truck" problem to be tied to a mod folder called "Panzermike". This mod had a number of submods for flavor objects, roads, bridges.... When I removed the panzermike folder, the truck problem disappeared. Hope this helps others having the same issue.
  11. I am seeing the same problem. Any idea which Mod created the problem or do we just need to through one by one to identify the culprit?
  12. First and foremost, THANK YOU Battlefront for an incredible module. I've only had a few minutes to explore the maps and scenarios but they all look incredible. When I pick up a new module, I almost always take a first look at the more unusual vehicles and noticed a potential problem. The TOE shown on the website for F&R lists that it includes the Sturmtiger, but the vehicle is not listed in the manual nor could I find it in the Quick Battle Generator. Am I blind and / or need another cup of coffee, or is the TOE on the website incorrect? On a related note, I see that the JagdTiger is included as a late addition to the game (thanks Steve!!!) but is not listed on the webpage TOE.
  13. If I might ask, "done" as in, corrected and included in a future to be released patch? Or, "done", as in posted somewhere I am too blind, deaf, or dumb to find? If the latter, please help a brother out and point me to the location...
  14. Quick question regarding the CMBS v4 patch. I downloaded the CMBS patch from the link in Elvis' first post but it appears point to v2.11 of CMBS which I think has been out for a while. In looking at the dates on the exe files for each of the games show a mid to late April date for all of them but CMBS. The CMBS exe date if from February 2019 for me. Did I do something wrong, or is the wrong update being pointed to in the link or is there no update needed for CMBS? Thanks Mike
  15. Great BBQ pic. When were flamethrowers added to CMFI/GL? I don't see any reference to them in either manual so assume they came later. Does anyone know if they are included in any scenarios or campaigns?
