  1. I just scanned my machine with Spybot, MS Malicious Remover, Malwarebytes, and Semantic AV Corporate version. Updated all before scaning. Nothing found but a few tracking cookies with Spybot. Check the other sites you visited.

  3. Apparently, you were chosen as the beta tester for the new Al Gore/Issac Newton Terrain Feature. As we all know the glaciers are melting in Greenland. As the glaciers melt Greenland is actually rising. Take these 2 facts and apply Newtons 3rd Law of Physics - for every action there is a reaction. All the land around this monolith, sank rapidly to make up fro the rise in and around Greenland. We can infer from the picture somewhere in Greenland there is a single remaining glacier the shape of a really massive ice cube.
  4. With speeds like that I should still be using dial-up.
  5. Yeah I know plenty. Just listen to me. BTW-My divorce will be final some time next week. You have included 1000 images in your message. You are limited to using 5 images so please go back and correct the problem and then continue again. Is a thousand happy faces too many?
  6. Time for a new thread: When's the demo due out?
  7. Cut flowers = she puts them in a vase and you get lucky. Potted flowers = you dig the hole in the yard to plant them. You weed and water them. If the flower dies you catch hell. Buy the cut flowers. Better yet buy a single red rose every month or so. $3 to $5 = cheep. 1 flower says the same thing as dozen or but for a lot less$$$. She thinks you really care (and you do) even if its not a special day. She'll ask what it for - Just feeling lucky. - - - - - Back to the real subject. I received a $1 rebate check back when they were popular. Suddenly these $5 charges started to appear on my credit card bill. Apparently cashing the check indicated I wanted to join a $5 ripoff club. . I quit the ripoff club and was $9 in the hole. I got another check the following month. This time I read the fine print - to the shredder it went.
  8. [drum roll]The envelope please. The answer is YES. [/drum roll]
  9. I have some extreme nut allergies. Had them since before I can remember (younger than 5, I'm 52 now) and have always been excruciatingly careful. If dessert isn't vanilla ice cream I usually pass. My worst experience was at pot luck party, 15 years ago, in a friends backyard, evening after dark. I ate some cashews on a slice of pizza by accident. I've had Canadian bacon/pineapple pizza before but that was the only time I had it with cashews. As I was swallowing the last bite I knew I was in trouble. The host gave me some benadryl from his medicine cabinet. About 20 minutes later my wife drove me to the hospital cause I was getting worse - less than 5 minutes away. The ER was standing room only on a Saturday night. I walked to the counter. I said allergic reaction, it really didn't need to be verbalized as my eyes were shut, hives on my entire body, and I was wheezing like the oil spewing from a pipe in the Gulf. "Right this way sir." is all she said. No waiting for me. They sat me in a chair took my BP. Another nurse approached and said we have a bed. The doctor was waiting by the bed for me when I got there- now that's service!! Before he spoke the IV was in. They asked how much Benadryl I had taken and the doc said that probably kept me alive. I didn't know the size of the pills or remember how many. The doc said 200mg of benadryl in the IV stat - no drip flow, a straight shot in the tube. The maximum adult dose is 250mg. They did other stuff too, but once the benadryl hit me I was floating and don't remember much. They sent me home is about 8 hours. For the next week or so I would go from normal to massive asthma with buckets of flowing nasal snot, then back to normal in 20 minutes. I was on prednizone and lower dose benedryl during that week. I only had one accidental nut exposure since but it wasn't as exciting. Much less involved and I spit it out before I swallowed. I just drank 1/2 a bottle of benadryl (about 150 mg worth) and slept for a afternoon. My epi-pin wasn't around and had long since expired. I don't carry one today just excruciatingly careful. F-word - I'm all itchy and and wheezing just typing this.
  10. Great site. Photo 16. Still on the ramp - looks like a Tommy Gun with the cylindrical magazine. ....Another further down.
  11. I know the difference betwix Portugal and Spain. Those two Iberian Peninsula countries. One of them is where Christopher Columbus sailed from. The other is the birthplace of Fidelity Magellan . I used Spain because I had read the 20% unemployment number just before my post.
  12. http://www.army-guide.com/eng/product943.html AWC Wiesel 1 with 20 mm cannon (MK 20 A1) This was built to meet the requirements of the German Army and is fitted with a one-man KUKA turret E6-II-A1 armed with a 20 mm Rheinmetall MK 20 Rh 202 dual-feed cannon with 160 rounds of ready use ammunition, 60 rounds on the left side and 100 rounds on the right side, allowing the gunner to select the type of ammunition required to engage different targets. The weapon can be elevated from -10 to +45° and traversed 55° left and right. Elevation and traverse are manual and the gunner aims the weapon via a Zeiss PERI-Z-16 periscopic sight; a passive night sight is also available. This has two crew consisting of commander/ gunner and driver.
  13. What exactly is the coverage of this game? (A) NATO forces in a civil war as the EU collapses as result of Greek and Spanish bankruptcy? ( Cold war - what if scenarios? (3) Balkan wars of the 90s? (D) NATO attacks Iceland to put an end to this ash issue?
  14. This is news? They are ALL silly threads after the page or so.
  15. Strike is over! the Repository is back! All is well in CM-land again.
  16. And will this sequence be: (A) 7AM, 8:30AM, and noon all on the same day ( Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in the same week (3) 3 undefined months within an undefined year (D) 3 unrelated days possibly within the same decade
  17. Tuesday nights. Remember it well. I spent the next 40 years waiting for CM to be invented.
  18. Makes me want to order pizza tonight instead of Chinese.
  19. Yet again...in no particular order... 20. He already did. That would be JasonC. To JasonC: I've been reading your profound and articulate dissertations on tactics for years. One question: Do you retype this every time or copy/paste from previous releases?
  21. Two ways to look at it: A. Its a only a game. Play any way you like mirrored/balanced etc. Might as well play checkers both sides start out balanced there too. Just make sure there are no terrain advantages to either side. Is black-red better than red-black? B. CM is a simulation of war. In real life the opposing commanders rarely knew the forces the other sides composition. i.e. only Double Blind play permitted. This is what I do mostly. In RL battles where never balanced - QBs with balance are BS. Scenarios are often one sided - deal with it. A good scenario designer tosses in some bonus points to even out the victory conditions. In RL there is never "goes overs" for anything - ever. Don't replay scenarios, there are 1500 out there for CMBB. Multiple replays until you get a gun key-holed just right at set up is bogus. Next time you bounce a check tell the bank you want "goes overs". This is what I do - mostlyYup luck happens: A mortar round in the open hatch of a tank. The only medal I ever got in limited Close Combat play was just that. A ricochet of a round that should be a KO really sucks. A 45mm getting a gun hit on a Panther sucks too. Bet those things happened in RL war too. Also in RL there can be the hero, the guy standing on the burning tank firing the 50 Cal turning back the battalion level attack. This is lacking in CMBB - deal with it. And in RL there were probably 1000 guys that climbed up on tanks only to die before they could even stand up thus fading into obscurity as another statistic. Either way you play the game, forcing a little added RL or harmony and balance, it is just a game, with its imperfect simulation of real life. But it is the best game going. The biggest problem with CM1 and 2 is no health packs or manna potions available.
  22. My 18 years old son says "that's sick" meaning good. When ever he says that I make a retching sound. He's stopped using it around me. We are constantly being unindated;) with new words and new meanings to existing words.
