FOX failed to "secure continuity of conservative administrations" in 2008. That year there was ABC, CBS, NPR, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC networks all leaning opposite of FOX. In Nov. 2010 more people viewed election results on FOX than all the others combined. And during those results they had a broad spectrum of analysts\commentators while the other guys went with their usual crew of left leaning guys. Fair and Balanced. I've heard of no direct benefits Murdoch received during the Bush Administration. And he surely would receive none from from 2008 till 2010. However, GE owns NBC and is in on MSNBC. Those two stations are slanted as far left as Fox is right. And GE has received multiple hundreds of million dollar contracts between 2008 and 2010. Any connection? I guess Rupert isn't doing a very good job with his agenda; no contracts and failed to "secure continuity of conservative administrations".

DT Excellent article. Funny thing it was written when FOX was a fledgling network and minuscule market share. Debate of the press is a good thing. But this thread is blasting FOX. FOX stands alone in its right wing points of view, yet you are calling for them to have controls. Please tell me some bad things the other networks have done then I'll consider this thread a "debate on the press" as opposed as an "attack on FOX'. Fair and Balanced ya know ;^) OReilly does not claim to be "hard" news. He states often that his is an opinion show. There are other shows on the new work that are "hard" news. Please point out any short comings of those shows. Such as Wikileaks and all the other media outlets that published them.

There are many things/opinions in the news and on the internet I don't agree with. But I don't call for shutting them down or regulating them. It's called FREEDOM of THE PRESS. When I don't like something I see on the media I have the flipper I have the power. When I don't like something I see on the internet I have the mouse I have the power. It's called FREEDOM of MY FLIPPER. This is America (at least I'm in America) and sloppy reporting has been around for a long time-Dan Rather and the GWB Air National Guard records. There weren't too many calls for regulation at that time. Perhaps America should adapt some some control in the media and follow those two fine news organizations: Tass And Pravda. I've heard of house flipping and cow tipping. But tank flipping? Sounds like a "no s#I+" story told in the VFW. Let'us say in the 5 years of war, 5000 German tanks met 40,000 Allied tanks - anything could have happened. I bet there was even a case or two of a MG bullet going down a barrel of a gun the instant the breech was opened and the bullet set off the ammo inside. Anything could happen. But tank flipping a as a planned tactic - probably not.

I tend to play large games and it does bog down in the later stages. I wouldn't think a handheld could run it either.

I think this rehash company is GOG (good old games). Not sure how you could tap in to their clientele.
