  1. I chuckled when I saw the first poor Russian radio operator lying down, looking like he had been crushed by a falling crate filled with radio.
  2. Actually in my eyes it's very different from CMBN/Western Europe. It ain't no rain forest, it's still Europe. So the terrain is relatively similar, as it is in RL. But there is a lot of difference and I think looks very good!
  3. Even though I'm no newcomer to CMx2 I fired up the tutorial campaign and must say I had a blast with it! So my compliments. The Soviets are indeed a whole different kind of beast. The tutorial did a nice job of showcasing that.
  4. Chrome direct download (PC) worked fine for me too. Never liked download managers.
  5. Give it to Wodin! Poor fella's skinned by his daughter!
  6. Same like oddball said, during the order process you can change the quantity from 1 to 2 (or whatever I guess). I'm quite sure you will get 2 licenses if you order 2 games.
  7. IIRC you can update quantity in the order form?
  8. Once you have grasped the concept of programming properly, most languages are 'easy' to learn. Just different options and syntax. Anyway that's my experience even though I moved away from coding myself
  9. Difference is that we can buy all vehicles, but don't have the time to drive all!
  10. Been almost 4 bloody hours! haha boys gonna be boys
  11. Obviously I was punished for my previous remarks and now facing a stubborn 88 as I was a bit stingy on arty rounds . If it won't die soon I will ultrakill it! Halfway the Aalst map already so I guess they will surrender quite soonish then. Too bad as I was just planning a major artillery bombardment on the last objectives.
  12. This is exactly the reason why they should do a download only pre-order, I don't care about any discounts but I don't want to wait for Ze Game!! Giving $27,- for DHL just to have a box I don't use and a manual I read already is a bit of a waste.
  13. Let us all unite and redownload all previous CM titles to flood the download server and pressure BFC to immediate release!
  14. Well, since there is no option for non pre-orderers to download the game I don't see how he did any harm Having said that I'm going home from a hard work week now, it better be available when I get home and done my groceries!!!
  15. Holland was a county in the past, Utrecht a diocese, Brabant and Gelre Duchy's, etc (not that there is any real difference between those terms ). Netherlands is the current nation state that bonds all people living in it's provinces. Doesn't mean they are more alike compared to people from different nations in the United Kingdom Anyhow I don't think it means anything. I'm genetically from Limburg as both of my parents came from there, but met each other in Utrecht. So by birth I'm Utrechter. And by conviction I'm cosmopolitan
  16. Indeed, thats how I have spotted (so far) 2 88's in Aalst and 1 Pak 40. The Pak got off some fire against soldiers not sticking to fire discipline but lucky for them it when just over their heads. Indeed that right flank stream is asking for an infantry patrol and that is where my most right platoon is about now. I laid a massive smoke screen to get in position and was surprised at the lack of resistance entering the city. However, it has already stiffened up and there is some heavy fighting going on! Not my experience. Sometimes I'm unlucky but usually a heavy quick 81mm mortar mission is enough to take out a single gun. When sneakily positioned or entrenched I go for a heavy short mortar mission or some heavier shells if available. If the artie didn´t kill the gun is usually suppressed so other weapons can finish it off. I didn´t have very good results targetting tanks with artillery in CMBN though.
  17. Since playing with BLUE in CMSF any red cross is one too much! However I feel that I should be less casualty focused, the objectives are important the rest is secondary. Victory at all costs!
  18. Just a joke with a reference to the other thread; anyway appreciate your testing work!
  19. See Wonble, just like in "The road to Nijmegen", determination and resolute action leads to decisive results!
