Yes the portuguese uniforms are quite fancy. Thank you. But the men we lost in that roadbomb, or the gunner wo died last week when their armored hummvee rolled over are still quite dead. I bet most of the people in this forum don´t knew the portuguese army was fighting (and dying in afghanistan) but they are and without glamourous media coverage. Small and poor countries contribut as possible. For instance i saw the danes pull out amazing feats of bravery. And the canadians, the poles, the scots, the new zealanders,australians the spanyards, the italians, the germans, the french... and so on, all of them took casualties. Respect. Let´s face it, war is a bitch !

Excellent idea ! However i am not sure if the civilians in the area have the same opinion. Civilians often have the inclination to consider having their homes destroyed and their lives in peril an rather unpleasent experience.

Or they (the brits) could pack their things and go home were they are warm and safe instead of walking around in a desert getting shot at. In fact they had theyr experience in getting busted out of Afganistan, it had been their colony you know, and it went bad for them. So i guess you should be apreciative of your allies and friends intead of making they look bad. The poles are going home, the aussies are going home. And you can bet the british public opinion wants their boys home.

Oh boy ! Yes. My only complaint now is that the bloody ATI left click issue forces me to play the game with my old gaming rig with a Geforce 6600. Instead of my gaming rig with a Radeon X1950pro. Bummer. Oh and the devs talked about fiddling with the quick battles, that would be nice.

Is there any proof that Charles really exists ? They may just receive a disk with the code from a beam of light from outer space and decided to call it Charles, instead of calling him a beam of light from outer space. Are you buying that line of " A super programmer called Charles does all the code on himself ", yeah right. They just needed a nice name to put in the tax declaration, beam of light wasn´t accepted has a viable tax payer. Even supernatural entities have to pay taxes you know.

I would be happy with a blue pond or stream here and there ! No fancy effects needed, just a touch of blue.

Agree ! Before this game, wargames were reduced to 2d a la Close Combat, and the the good but outdated CM1. It was a refreshing evolution. And modern combat brings new and interesting tactical situations.

Likewise. I hope SF makes it as far as the second module, at least... and personally I'd rather see at least one more 'modern' (i.e anything post Korea) game from the CM2 engine before moving back to WW2. I appreciate that's a minority opinion, though. </font>

They still don´t fix the ATI left click problem. I still need to activate the ATI compatibility option in the 1.2 patch. Maybe next time

Hi guys. I noted that we guys with the left click ATI issue can play the game when selecting the units by clicking the unit triangles on top of screen. That doesn´t seem to make the game crash and makes it kind of playable.
