I'm amazed that someone who plays these games cannot see the value that CMBN gives, and keeps giving. Though I will not discount their opinion(s). I was a a CMBB player and a long time player of Close Combat and am still very fond of it, in spite of its limitations. However CMBN breaks the mold like non other. I haven't been this giddy over a game since my initial purchase of CC. I firmly believe it is already the finest tactical game I've ever played. I can't say enough good things about. Not only do I have a fantastic game of armor but a superb INFANTRY game to go with it. Having a blast, to say the least. The interface is now second nature and has not inhibited my enjoyment in the least. I love the many details it offers a player. My sincerest thank you to the BF team.

When approaching enemy held positions I'm using this command instead of obvious "Hunt". I like this slower pace for tanks, it would seem better recognition moving at a lower speed. "Hunt" looks too fast for me. Anyone use this?

When on the attack/probe and recon finds your infantry and armored targets. 'Tis better to recon some more for the gun(s) that lay in wait:(

Does "Z" folder work for sound mods also? I see FightingSeabee response, nevermind.

YES, but that is not stopping my troops and tanks from death, at this point. I stink and its a testament to how good CMBN is, I believe. I'm getting owned and I've played many hours of CMSF. I'll get better but the learning curve higher than I ever thought.

BFC doesnt use other sites for download, like with the demo? I got pretty good speed for the demo dld.

Yeah I have Norton and it seems aggressive, always telling me something, much more so than McAfee which I would never see it do much of anything. Don't no if that is good or not.

Hey, this game is hard I lost all my armored cars and 1 Panther and I'm afraid to deploy the Marders for fear of losing them. I keep looking for "ACQUIRE" so i can deploy a few Javelins to take care of the pesky Shermans. Whats up with this? It's like I've never played a tactical WWII game;) Congrats to BFC for a fantastic Demo and counting the hours till we get the entire game!

Wodin we're past the "foundation" with CMBN I believe. Perfect, of course not but better than anything we've seen.
