This broadens the criteria for "Russia winning" a great deal.  Anything short of Russia not comprehensively losing and starting to behave itself could be considered "Russia winning".  As for time running out, it appears more likely if you extrapolate the speed of the counteroffensive based on what we've seen in the last few weeks/months, but far less likely if you anticipate a slow-then-quick bankruptcy style decline it RU's capabilities.  I cautiously favour the latter.
If this does turn into a Korean style stalemate, then it will be relative stability that matters.  It would suck but life could go on in relative peace.

CM players on this site (lets recall this is a gaming site) are entirely aware that a King Tiger, IS-2, Abrams or T90 (depending on the title) is not immune to damage or destruction on the battlefield. Nobody here is so naive.

I think I understand both their request and the likely ‘response’ from Ukraine.  Both equally valid in their own ways and contexts.

Important milestone for Ukraine.  They have taken land in and around Krasnohorivka.   According to the BBC that's the first time they have retaken land that was stolen back in 2014.
Seems like the offensive has picked up a little steam lately.

Regarding the morale of the Russian army, here is an unverified interview with a Russian officer that I still feel is credible. The interview (or rather phone conversation) is a reaction from an officer to a previous piece that included statements from other RU officers who criticized Putin's speech during meetings with RU Nat reporters.
It is lengthy, but I believe it is necessary to transcribe it in its whole in order to convey an impression of the real RU army morale and mentality now.
