  1. The times do vary based on the unit's skill level and always have.
  2. I will certainly remember to make a report about this. Yep, I do have it enabled. EDIT: I just saw the suggestion about capping the frame rates. Will give that a try!
  3. Well, since we were a medical company, we didn't get all the cool stuff (except the battalion Sergeant Major, of course ). The only time I fired my rifle in Iraq was on a range qualification day. Thankfully, our convoys always came and went without any issues. And yep, all of our stuff was stone age, that's for sure. Almost all of our rifles and NVGs were hand-me-downs from 3rd ID and dated from the late-80s/early 90s.
  4. Not quite, in regards to Mosin-Nagants (a Nagant is a revolver ). In 1943 alone, there were more M91/30s built than in all other years of production combined. What did start happening in late 1944 is that the M91/30 started to be replaced by the M44. As for the SVT-40, I do think it's represented on the high side in CMRT.
  5. Even us medic types got in on the act (Camp New York, Kuwait, February 2004, about ready to move north). As you can see, some still liked to wear the goggles, but I hated those things and never wore them: I'm third from the left, back row.
  6. Steve, not to be the bearer of bad news, but mouse lag is still very much a problem with wired mice. I've been using a wired Logitech mouse (and a wired keyboard) for some time now, and the lag in all of the CMx2 titles can be really bad at times. Seeing that I have a very capable system (SSD, GTX 680, quad-core CPU, 16 GB RAM), I can only point to CMx2's coding as being the issue here.
  7. Umm...that's what the R35s were known for.
  8. Perfect! Chris, there's your cover art for the CMFI module.
  9. Plus, this is something the community has asked for, i.e., more mission content from BFC. So, this is a good example of them providing something the community has requested.
  10. Guys, take it to another thread, please.
  11. Good to hear. This is something I'd really like to see.
  12. Is the SPW 251/22 something that would fit for Italy late war, or did that not see service there?
  13. You know the road signs have received a lot of attention when the rifle slung from one of them is modeled.
  14. ...says the guy who brought up GTOS, when he previously said he wouldn't bring up GTOS in such discussions.
  15. Because I've been testing the game since it went to beta? You do realize the game can handle only one set of portraits per formation, right? For someone who is apparently intimate with all of the workings of CMx2, surely you would know that, right?
  16. Man Wiggum, you really are getting pathetic.
  17. Most formations currently have just one NCO texture per uniform type, so that's what's used for all NCO ranks.
  18. In how many damn topics are you going to post the same complaint?
  19. And you've made that known 10,000 times already. Point taken, Wiggum.
  20. Dude, they are not straight out of Normandy. The game covers more than just December 1944, so you have to expect the unit portraits to be shown with a green background.
  21. It's probably something they just didn't get around to doing, for whatever reason. On that note, the German NCO uniforms will be a lot more prevalent with CMFB, as now all NCOs will be depicted with an NCO uniform. Before it was just NCOs who were platoon leaders that were tagged with an NCO uniform.
