Snoop375 Yes, this video card is not supported. It may be better to build a new PC than buying a newer AGP video card, since AGP cards cost higher that similar PCI cards and other system components will not suffice for new games anyway.

Shift is used for stacking similar waypoint orders like Assault or Move, so it can't be assigned for other functions.

You mean if you turn off HDR and Ambient occlusion you have graphical glitches? Is AA turned on in control panel?

Graphics engine uses rendering to texture technique heavily (even for shadows), and this is not compatible with AA, so AA is not supported. You can force it on video card control panel, but it will work only with HDR and ambient occlusion disabled, so i prefer HDR and SSAO instead of AA myself.

By default, the camera in the game is set to RTS mode and it's movement is somewhat limited. Press and hold mouse wheel to rotate the view. You can change camera mode in camera settings, choose free mode and the camera will function like in TOW1. Press and hold mouse wheel to rotate the view.

To change fire mode (top, lower parts, etc.) right-click fire mode button on lower right orders panel (the one with the target image). In Retreat order tanks are always move backwards. To change the facing, press Defend order button and right-click at desired direction. If only one unit is selected, you can also just right-click and hold until "rotate" cursor appears, then release the right mouse button. You can also rotate the turret by selecting the turret gun with left-click first.

Buying the new video AGP card will make you able to run the game, but performance will be non-satisfactory anyway because of old CPU. Also keep in mind that AGP cards prices are considerably higher than same model cards which use PCI-E (modern cards need special chips to be compatible with AGP bus). So i would suggest building a new PC. This way you won't pay money for in fact higher cost DDR1 memory or AGP video card while perfomance would be limited by CPU anyway.

We've tested the game on many different configurations, including Windows 7, and the game and editors worked. So it should work.

What video card do you have? Try to run the game with autodetected settings (there is an Autodetect button in setup program). Try to turn off 'high landscape detail' if you turned it on.

It may help a bit, but the CPU will still cap the performance. I would save money for a new PC instead, since upgrade in your case will require replacing MB, CPU, RAM and video (7300 is not enough for today's 3D games) - a whole new computer. In addition, old RAM type for your current PC may even cost more than DDR2 used in most modern ones. I would also suggest building the PC yourself instead of buying it as a whole (cheaper), but this is complete offtopic. If you want us to recommend you the specs for new computer, specify the price range first.

ToW 1.2.0.46 should to be upgraded using Uberpatch. Make sure you install Uberpatch for your version of the game (there are different releases).

Try to lower graphics settings, turn off EAX, and switching option 'Use only one CPU' on or off. What is the name of your CPU?

Do you have the Battlefront version downloaded from this site or any other? Did you downloaded the Uberpatch from this site? If yes, make sure you run the game using 'Run as Administrator' context menu option (if your OS is Vista).

You should download and install the uberpatch too.

Note that the RTS camera is turned on by default (free camera was default in TOW1). You can change it back in camera settings.

Changes to Belorussia campaign will require the MP installed, of course, but i suppose you should be able to install other parts of the mod even if you don't have the mission pack.
