I am surprised. I actually liked the Real Time mopde in the demo quite a bit. (This is saying something - I hated C&C (many moons ago) and have a couple of dusty Blitzkrieg games that I've maybe played twice...)

I was going to crack a joke, but seeing as my brother-in-law is in Afghanistan right now, I'll bite my tongue. Since IEDs (not to be confused with IUDs) can be triggered by cell phones, I do not see any reason why a specific person with line of site to the IED couldn't *trigger* the explosion - like spotting for artillery.

As US - I rushed the back of the hill, snuck a spotter around to the side, sent tanks up the hill first, strikers behind, spotter called mortars on soft targets, wiped out the enemy, took the line with infantry with not a single loss on my part. Not gamey, just tactics - use the terrain (take the high ground) & use your assets effectively.

Yes, the DEMO works great on my Win 2k machine! 3 yrs old with a vid card upgrade last year. AMD Athlon XP2500 896 MB (Thats 128+256+512 for those who care) Radeon X700 (AGP) Win 2k SP4 Whatever settings the game set - not too high, but not the lowest by any means. Demo is a blast - love what you did with Spotting & calling Atillery. Dang, I guess I'll have to buy it now!
