  1. Sound's like your on the right-track daringly !, so i will defer to our 'Naval' member's or Naval History Buff's to fine-tune your proposition!.
  2. By the same token,...i think that daringly has a point. Air-Fleet's that suffer damage, should then reflect a corresponding amount of damage that a reduced strength unit should be able inflict,... and not the full regular damage that a full-strenth unit would be capable of carrying out!.
  3. Just a thought!..., the little 'Box' where '11' is displayed could be colored in a 'light-Gold color' or something to help make 'Instant-Recognition' of 'Elite-Units' quick & easy!.
  4. I say make it so that all-Three are taken out at once, as i think that this would more properly reflect the actuallity that did take place!. No-Long-Drawn-Out Stuck-In-The-Mud Engagement's!.
  5. Ive been thinking about this for quite awhile, and thought it no more than just nonsense!. However, i have not been able to shake the 'Bug'!. Example: When an Aircraft is Destroyed, i would like to see a 'Replacement-Image'' such as for instance,...an Exploding 'FireBall' with-in the Aircraft Image, before the Aircraft disappears off the game screen,...as well as for Ship's, if a Ship is sunk i would like to see the Ship-Image changed to a Ship that is now tilted at 45-Degrees,...showing that it is in-fact Sinking and not long for this world...before it as well disappears off the game screen!. This visual concept, i think would help to enrichen the game, through visual images to help us maintain more clarity in the game as to what is actually happening!. As it is when an Aircraft is Destroyed, you have no-way of really knowing if it in-fact has been Destroyed!. Ship's are more 'OBVIOUS' when they are destroyed, but...as for Aircraft, it is not-so-obvious!. Anyone else have any other idea's???. [ September 17, 2006, 08:40 PM: Message edited by: Retributar ]
  6. I too am surprised at how interesting your game was Terif !, nice write!. I would like to see a MOD made-up with the action's of both-side's encoded into the Script's,...so that they can be activated when the appropriate situation has met the required criteria. All in all, your's is perhap's the 'MOST-INTERESTING' game read i have done so far!, "Congratulations"!.
  7. Youri & Edwin P., good point's, even though similar concern's have been brought up before. Even though these problem's have been mentioned in the past, we shouldn't give up mentioning them again and again, until a solution result's!. We want a 'Stellar-Game', not just a 'Great-Game'!. Can these 'AI' inadequacie's be realistically dealt with Hubert ?.

  9. Hello Edwin P. !, i like your 1st Version the most i think, as i do not fully understand the 2nd Version as well!. Also in Version #1, i like the total lack or minimum control one has over how your Diplomacy will work out!. This makes it more like a game of Rock, Paper and Scissors. Whom you choose as Foreign Minister and who your opponent selects will affect the costs pursuing a diplomactic strategy . As well, i like the personal feel one get's when they know that they have been bested by their opponent!. [This would Pee-Me-Off!] A popup for the Axis saying "[German] agents have sabotaged [british] research" or [German] agents have acquired Allied technology" would go a long way towards making Intel feel like Intel . Your 1st Version has a 'Personal-Feel' to it, where'as the 2nd Version is too 'Machine-Like', or so that's the impression i get!. In the 1st Version, i feel like im very 'Personally-Involved', and that it's me that they are taking a piece out of!.

  13. Sir 'Frost' ... i myself am not making MODS, but there are quite a few that have dabbled with it here!. Here's a list of some that are into it...and they might be able to help you out!. My understanding, is that what you want to get done is possible, but 'Unfortunately' not quite as easy to do as you think!. With a little guidance, you should soon be on your way at using the Editor!.

This will be an 'Educational Experience' for us gamer's!. Thankyou for not giving-up on your task of making this MOD a reality to us all!. He wanted to concentrate the French Armoured forces as a separate entity, as well as to build up those forces to several times their present size!. Col.   18. HONCH'S game takes a lot of AI time, not all games are that SLOW...just his!,...and my CPU is a... Processor : Quantity : 2 Processor Type : GenuineIntel Processor Name : Mobile Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.20GHz Identifier : x86 Family 15 Model 4 Stepping 1 Speed : 3200Mhz Level : 586 Granularity : 64K Revision : 1025 High-End Processor : True ...So it's 'NOT' my Computer that is the cause of the SLOW 1/2hr problem!.
  19. Some of the MOD's im playing now take me nearly a half-hour to wait for the 'AI' to do it's thing!. So what about having a feature to put in what-ever music or sound-effect that i like or prefer, in-order to alert me that the 'AI' has finally completed it's turn!. ALSO!,...another feature i would like, is to be able to let the 'AI' do it's half-hour effort, while i could then return to my desktop screen and carry-on with what-ever else i want or need to attend to!.
  20. A thought just occurred to me. When Enigma is working, the Enigma De-Cloaked Units should show an Identifying National Colour as well as just a Purple Outlined Image or something, so that it doesn't look like actual spotted unit's. This would help in that one could quickly, easily identify 'Enigma' revealed unit's!.
